TS blocked for me

Hey guys i have heard rumors that people aren't allowed to talk in group chat anymore and must use ts or discord ect. does anybody know if this is true since my ts is fully blocked due to where i live and my discord i can hear but when i talk i sound like r2d2 from star wars. It would be annoying if im not allowed to use group chat. And no VPN can get through not even digital oceans.

Hello Tom_NEW, I live in Kuwait, so were neighbors :D, anyway, there is a way to talk on TeamSpeak/Discord etc.. Now due to Dubai banning all FREE text/Voice calls, so example, Whats app/TS/Discord/Viber/Skype etc.. There is initially no way for you to talk there. 

Now mostly my friends in Dubai with whats app use VPN to talk. Now your saying VPN doesn't work, can you tell me how it doesn't work? 

Now im pretty sure you can go on TS, BUT cannot talk but can hear. If im correct, the only initial way of speaking would be using soundboard, now ive never use soundboard before so people who use it need to correct me please say so. But what you can do i think is create sounds on soundboard and play them. SO example if someone asks you what a great day it is and how are you? You create a sound board saying Yes im fine thanks. ETC...

Now when i was in Dubai Airport, Whats app calls worked for me like a charm so IDK. But good luck bud. Also another thing, you might wanna talk to the admins about that since you can run into some issues, example liasions, if TS doesnt work, you might wanna do admin call and ask for a perm to do a INGAME liasion. (Admins please correct me if im wrong here) But i believe im sure they will try to work it out for you!

@TheCap Please don't advise people to break national laws. VPN's used to access external restricted services (ie banned VOIP services) are illegal in the UAE.

Group chat use is not specifically against the rules but you must make sure that you don't run foul of hot mic'ing rules. Whitelisted factions rely on TS rather than group chat, so you may struggle there if you wish to join. People also use TeamSpeak to resolve their issues, which may become problematic for you. Other than that of course, you don't have any problems from a rules perspective.

WOAH! I didnt know that! Apologies. So Mr. @Tom_new VPN's are not your answer. Now from what i know, if your with friends and what to initiate, its pretty much impossible.

Thanks for replying to this and btw its not whats app that's blocked for me no that works very well along with Skype, Dubai has blocked off ts and discord simply since there untraceable which means certain people can use them which is why they have been blocked so you cannot here nor talk so when i try to join ts roleplay.co.uk it just says error then the cannot connect but discord i can join group and hear just they have blocked the voices of people that live here. VPN i have spent a lot of money trying to get a good VPN that hopefully would be able to get through this issue yet Dubai is shutting down most VPNs and have. i dont really know how to resolve this issue but i'm trying to find ways to resolve this but so far nothing.

Now since im not staff, i wont be able to help you like they can, but i believe that if they want example a liasion with you, it'll be extremely difficult. If you are still trying with VPNs, you'll face some issues, first up, its illegal and apparently fineable as well, second of all, your ping will drop pretty hard. In kuwait i have maybe the 2-3rd strongest internet here, but due to distance, i have around 150PING, since you live lower and further you kight get also 150 or 150-180 and with a VPN id see around 200-230 which will get you kicked most of the time on the server, and TS wont be affected by it
