Hey guys! So after many hours of frustration simply trying to earn money to progress, I've come across the many issues plaguing the job and it's current site. It's nice to see the Staff team is actively trying to improve the situation but to their best efforts, there are still inconsiderate, impatient fools ruining the experience for everyone. It's nice to see the new one way system being implemented however, I feel personally there needs to be an official notice about said system as simply having some poor individual tell every truck is seems is exhaustive and time consuming. Taking away from that guys experience.
I've suggested a couple of changes on Discord and was told to voice them here, so that is what I'm doing. I think the yard should be limited to 4-5 trucks at a time, with each truck parking up in the allotted parking space, proceeding to walk to the job board. Selecting a new job, before returning to their truck and starting their round. This should, providing the gate is manned alleviate the congestion and fools deeming it appropriate to park in the middle of the damn yard. Secondly, it also limits the trailer spawns. Meaning explosions are far less likely to happen, if not never to happen should the user have the driving skills needed to execute a simple reverse. The guard or yardman should be someone with the authority to either revoke licenses/submit and application to revoke a license and attach a hefty fine. With all trucks not following the guidelines being impounded with immediate effect. Furthermore, I think the logical move going forward would be an additional trucker job. To help further alleviate the congestion, located else where from the current. Should be a relatively simple addition, merely copying the script currently used, renaming and changing the co-ordinates for the existing spawn points and markers. All of these changes wouldn't eliminate the stupidity people seem to posses, but it would help to make the job more accessible and thus make roleplaying and earning a damn living that little bit easier.
** Side addition, you could also add a second point of delivery to each mission. Thus increasing mission length and reducing the time people are needed back at the yard.
I'd love to know all your thoughts on the issue because honestly, it's unplayable as it currently stands. Despite the best efforts being made to actively resolve the issue.
