Truck inventory reset after restart

When storing items in the trunk (T), I would strongly advise you to Sync Trunk Data. This will save all items in the trunk. If the server crashes a few minutes afterwards, theres a chance it will be lost. Also, if you sync it right before restart, theres also a chance that it will be lost. Hope this answers your question

A while back a small number of people we're abusing the fact that they could fill trucks with unprocessed weed and it would store in trucks after the reset.
(They used to fill them up 5 minutes before restart, abuse the fact that the truck went back into their garage, then when the server reset they'd spawn the the closest town near to processing and pull that truck out again).
So Wilco decided to make drugs and other illegal items not store in trucks after restart.
Legal resources, like Salt, Iron, Oil etc are fine, they will store. A few of the newer illegal items store, I think it's an error though.
Note: You can store illegal items in houses, and they will save after restarts (unless someone robs your house).
To summarise:
Items that do NOT store in vehicle T menu after restarts
- Unprocessed/Processed Weed, Cocaine & Heroin
- Gold Bars (Old or normal).
Items that DO store in Vehicle T menu after restarts:
- Any market items (Food, Pickaxe, Drinks, etc).
- Any legal unprocessed / processed resources, e.g. Iron, Copper, Salt, Oil, etc.
- Ephedrine Barrels and Crystal Meth.
- Hermit LSD and Frogs Legs.
Just tagging in @Wilco and @Ciaran in case they weren't aware that LSD and Meth saves in vehicle inventories.

Would be no point in playing the game if there weren't any competition from the police/rebels when doing illegal things? You honestly can't expect the police not to patrol the illegal drug routes and locations can you? In real life if they know hotspots they patrol them frequently!
Go in a group if you don't want to get robbed doing legal things; join a gang that does such runs. Ask the police for their presence at traders etc. Don't say they don't respond because personally I do.

The competition isn't too high. To be honest the police don't even patrol illegal areas all that much. Weed is the most common. Most of the time time officers are responding to gun crimes, therefore go and do heroin/cocaine/meth if weed is too risky. Or better yet, go legal.
Competition isn't too high, maybe a bit much for loners but that's why you join a group!
I find it hard to complete either a drug run or a copper run. So if you ask me i would say that the competition is too high.

You'll always struggle being s loner though. If competition is too high, join a group as I've said.
This is a game, people are nice in real life but they always want to roleplay the 'baddie' because it's something they can't ever do. Here will always be high amounts of rebels because of this, so either join the police ( don't have to pay for gear/vehicles ) and roleplay that way, or join a gang and do runs.
Saftey in numbers.
This is my second time i've tried to join the ALUK police. First time i didnt have enough playtime, and this time i failed the metagaming part in the interview. Now i have to wait 2 mounths before i can apply again, and since i dont want to stop playing altis for 2 mounths i have to do something. Since rebel license cost 500k, i have to earn money from something. I'm in a small gang atm, but still find it hard to protect my self from bigger gangs with only a pistol, when selling my ingots.
