For the summer holidays my friends and I are planning to go and meet up in Lemnos since it has been one of our main places we have wanted to visit.

Date is going to be set a bit later when we confirm everything.

I decided to post it over here as we will have the chance to go around nearly every place in the island. We will be comparing it to the in game version as well.

The main question is to what places do you guys want us to go to and video it for you? We are most likely going to have Motorbikes so we can go to anywhere on the Island we wish.

If the staff wants we could come up with a flag of some kind and put it somewhere on the Island where ever you desire.

If anyone has any previous experience going to Lemnos please let me know, I'd love to hear.

I went there in 2013, before I started playing ArmA.

It's a lovely place, and I stayed at a resort which is where Kavala beach is. In real life the island is scaled larger than in game, but that didn't stop us from exploring. I remember eating at a lovely restaurant in a harbour where Pyrgos is. Didn't go up north, and mainly stuck to main roads. I don't remember much as it was a few years ago, but I know that I enjoyed it a lot

Thats wonderful, we are planning to go up north with the bikes. Also we are planning to visit where the old BG base was :D

 
I've been planning to do this with a few mates for a while now. 

The irony, we will be on a Greek Island, but know the place like the back of our hands...

 
@MaxiWhy not visit Oreocastro (Looks like a military base lol) and Abdera (AKA Katalakko) up North West and maybe go to Selecano (AKA Skandahli) down South East, would be nice to see how those places look in real life.

Btw be careful with cameras as even bohemia staff members were arrested because the government though they were spying.

Ps. Find Amoni and take a picture so I can start countersniping the rebels doing a H.M
