Trading on CS:GO!

Hello!

So I was looking into trading on CS:GO but of course I have a long journey ahead of me. I will probably start with around 70 quid and work my way up from there. Any advise from some experienced traders? I know a few of you on here have a lot of items on CS:GO so any tips would be great.

Thanks!

You don't even need to start with that much but hey, £70 is great.

Place high on Low Risk bets - They may not may as good as placing high on high risk bets but it's still some reward.

I'm not a big trader, I have traded though and researched a lot. It takes up a lot of you time, and it is always constant so you will nearly always have to be willing to put the effort into it. That is basically why I didn't try, I just don't have the time (nor can I be bothered).

With this, you will also need to be fairly lucky to find the right deal at the right time.

However, if you are doing betting (as mentioned by previous post) the same thing is required, research on the teams / matches. But also to not be careless. You will lose with the bets, but you will win. It's all about trying to make profit, so betting £70 straight away and losing, well its GG. Although, betting £10 on a 20% community vote (who will win), and getting a 3:1 ratio profit is big.

Alas, it is up to your discretion. Just don't get hooked on gambling.

Don't Bet, those few wins you do get will come straight back round and bite you in the arse at some point.

My tips are:

1.) Only trade for better items, and never downgrade.

2.) Where possible stick to the classic skins especially with knives, e.g Fade, slaughter, and crimson etc. as other skins tend to fluctuate a lot more in price.

3.) Don't trade with anyone with low hours and a low level steam as they will probably be a scammer, also keep your eyes on the ball on the trades as quick switching items are becoming a lot more common these days.

Most of all, Have fun!

I trade a lot, the most useful tool is http://www.steamanalyst.com/ It shows you the price of any skin, always try and make at least 2 keys with each trade or it's not worth it. If trading with knifes try to not downgrade with adds, just try to upgrade.

If you feel that you're able to have a safe bet, then in my eyes you should go for it.This is the same with most people I know and pretty much most of what I have read around..

But heyho if not betting worked for you then GJ.

I never bet, upsets happen often. Last week Fnatic lost against CLG and they had 94% chance to win. In my opinion the risk isn't worth the money you will get.
