As I am a former war correspondent and I am used to seeing some ugly scenes but I was hoping my visit here would be relaxing and give me a chance to mingle with some of the locals. Share words not bullets, that type of thing.

On my way from the garage I was crashed into by a truck of unsavoury looking characters that spoke in a strange high pitched language. I switched on my camera but decided they weren't they the type of person I was looking to speak to on Altis and I left the garage with one eye on the road and the other over my shoulder.

I'm surprised I didn't crash.

There was a small construction yard and I parked up in there. All expectations of a quiet day were about to be put on hold as I picked up my camera and prepared for the worst...

Great video buddy. I would suggest pressing Shift + P to pud earbuds in so the vehicles are much quieter. Loved the video, made me laugh at the start.

Looking forward to the next one.

Steve

Cheers for the tip. I'm pretty new to Arma 3, RP and also recording so I am just finding my feet. I'm even worried about asking for help in game with controls sometimes. The earplug thing will handy.

Hopefully I'll be able to capture some more interesting footage.

Also, you don't happen to know how I can add my Steam ID to my profile? I tried for ages but I just gave up in the end.

Today I managed to get out and do some reporting. I think that by accidentally poking my nose in the wrong place I have discovered a plot that allows me to snoop around in the style of the greats like Donal MacIntyre, Grant from Eastenders and Stacey Dooley.

As a newcomer to Altis I have no weapons or the ability to use them. I have no contacts that I can call on to assist me if things go wrong and I have no idea what will happen if and when I catch up with the gunrunners.

But that doesn't particularly bother me as I am used to rushing into dangerous situations with no regard for my own saftey.

I'm also very resilient and have survived over 400 shootings and numerous road traffic 'accidents'

Ooh this seems very interesting - I like seeing more videos pop up of ingame happenings. ^^
