The Rules :(

Is there a rule when a gang is more then a something do they have to tags? if not they should.
Are you asking whether there is written rule for gangs to wear tags in their name in-game to able to identify if they are together when you get killed in-side chat?

for many things for example to define if we are rdmded or not. for example if we inationate on a gang  for example the PMC clan was inateited on by [PMC] Smithy then another person for example Reece. They were in the same gang but we might not know that

I like this idea and been thinking about this too. It will be much easier to determine if somebody is involved with a situation e.g a gunfight with TCK and an LS member kills you. You may think it was RDM as they were not involved with the situation

Does it matter if they have tags or not, considering using that infor for anything other then reporting would be metagaming, and if it involves reports, their gang is irrelevant, this suggestion seems more for the purposes of metagaming then anything else

What he means is as I know your in ls LS is there a rule for it to be [LS]Mooss. So in sidechat cops don't think its rdm when it is not. Saves hassle of msging people.
using the kill feed is pointless, and even if it is rdm the cops cant do shit unless they happen to be involved.

Honestly this would do nothing but encourage metagaming and harrassment of gang members

How would it be for metagaming? Since it says there gang name under there name and thats the only time it would matter.

They talking about when a gunfight happens and they get killed, they want to know if that member is part of the gang so whether is was rdm or not.

Most of the members have it But some members dont have it because they will get metagamed and get killed if u know what i eman

Don't quote me on this but I am pretty sure it dies not count as RDM when you got killed when there was an active gunfight going on in that area, kinda the same way when people run into gunfights to pick up sacks or weapons and then get killed it is their fault for running in there in the first place.

You have to look at the negatives aswell with having mandatory gang-tags. I've almost always played WITH gang-tags, I think it should possibly be a rule. But when you're in a big gang, you start being meta-gamed by police. They ANPR the car, you step out, and they instantly feel the need to put you in "cuffs" for their own safety.

This in return leads to rebels being "fuck of or ill shoot you" because they know that the police are out for blood. Im not the handzupordie-type of guy, but theres been plenty of times where i wish i had been. Many a times the police have felt the need to restrain me, or search me, or simply scrap my vehicles because i put my gun away to not feel threatening.

The last two days i've ran around with a different name and roleplay-background, and the difference is huge. I can actually talk to people normally, without them thinking im always about to rob them. And cops dont give me a 100k ticket for vehicle-theft.

When I was in "bigger" gangs like TCK I used tags but I noticed how you often got metagamed. The way I noticed this alot was when a few pepole tried robbing me amd I could hear from thier ts "oh it's tck they have allt/no other members on" so since I left that I never enjoyed using gang tags.If you're a cop thinking it's rdm why not take a look sfter fights. It rarely is rdm in my case as far as I see. But hey still happens

When you see the name on someone head start with a known insignia, be it [DIPSHITS] DAVE, a member of the DIPSHITS gans or [B0OBS] Frankie1909 from the Big Obese Oppresive Bigoting Suckers gangs, people will subconsciously acknowledge that when checking the registrations/ reading the name tag. I don't think that MAKING people wear gang tags in-game is fair due to this, however I do see the side of 'how do i know it wasn't just an RDM'r?' Well... You can message them once you've been revived or once you've re-spawned be it in-game or on teamspeak.

Gangs are involving friends sometimes, players who are not in gang. I think this is bad idea or don´t see point of it.

The metagaming response was before my quote of your response, indended for the OP.

And if you look at it that way,i can see what you mean.
