Hobos of Kavla, Welcome to...
Hello Everyone!
As you know Bear Grylls hosts a popular TV series called 'The Island' where contestants must try and survive on a stranded island. They have to feed themselves, put up with the weather conditions, and most importantly try not to kill each other as they attempt to live together 24/7 for over a month.
So I decided to try and recreate this with the help of The Copper Kings, and Pilgrims of the Far East.
After today's trial was successful I have decided to make this a weekly event, every Saturday evening around the 8pm restart.
You may be wondering how this works, well what we will tried to do was go around Kavala asking people if they wanted to take part in a game show for a chance to win £200,000. This didn't work very well and we only got 1 volunteer, so we decided to use drastic force.
We setup three helicopters around Kavala with over 10 of our guys around the town to find hobos and try to get them to join us, if they refused to comply or were being rude we captured them, took them in our heli and flew them to our secret island, west of Kavala. Doing this we caught around 6 hobos which was enough for our challenges.
Today the challenge was just to simply make your way back to Kavala, this was our no prize test run to see how well it worked. The principles of the idea were successful so in the next coming we we will be doing some more challenges.
Challenges
- The rook fight to the death. There are a pile of rooks on the floor, we will at the same time unrestrain all the hobos and as we get in the heli tell them to try and survive and kill their opponents, last man standing wins.
- The 3km swim. It's a 3km swim back to land, whoever makes it to Kavala pier first wins, we will also arm the hobos in an attempt to add competiton.
- The hobo quiz. All the hobos will be lined up and asked questions in different categories. If you get an answer wrong you get shot in the foot.
- The heli race. We will leave a heli on the island and let all the hobos go at the same time, whoever manages to successfully get the heli first and not crash the heli while landing back at Kavala wins.
- Money toss. We will rob all of the hobos and give them all £1 each. Whoever has no money at the end wins, they will have to pass it between themselves, then after 1 minutes we will seperate them to see who managed to pass the money on the fastest.
- Finding Nemo. All contestants will be dropped off the small hill into see while restrained, whoever finds Nemo first wins (bit of a troll as it's inevitable death)
- Boat race back to Kavala, who doesn't crash into a rock.
