Teamspeak won't work, what about the interview?

I have this problem with Teamspeak where it won't connect to any server, and I only just got accepted to the NHS. Is there anyway I can do the interview without Teamspeak?

No, you must do the interview on team speak and when patrolling you must also be in the relevant channels. So team speak is a must

Make sure you have the latest version of TS 3 (not 2). Also what does it say when it fails to connect?

It says

"<18:05:05> Trying to resolve hostname ts.altislife.co.uk
<18:05:07> Trying to connect to server on ts.altislife.co.uk
<18:05:12> Failed to connect to server"

Try TS.Roleplay.co.uk
It's not working, unfortunately. I tried uninstalled and reinstalling, changing the type of client and even disabling my firewall but nothing seems to fix this problem. It seems I may not be able to join the NHS after all. Damn, I was really looking forward to it.

could you try to in cmd do ''ping  accounting.teamspeak.com'' and post the response to look if you can connect to ts services

I might be tottaly wrong smart pc guys :p

this is what 1 google search found me

This is not an application issue.

You may need to flush your DNS inside a command prompt.

can you connect to other servers in TS?

try ipconfig /flushdns

Hello @Yuri Kostofv,

Before starting any guessing on how to resolve this dilemma, I would like to ask a couple of questions that shall improve my knowledge on the ongoing situation:

  • Can you connect to any other TeamSpeak servers or is it just RPUK's?
  • Is this occasional or does it happen everytime?
  • Have you previously used TeamSpeak and therefore possibly experienced this problem?
If you could reply back answering these questions that would be perfect and I will jump straight onto helping you!

Thank You,

Jack Shepherd.

Hello sir, I have discovered that the reason for Teamspeak not working is that the local telecoms and internet provider has blocked foreign VOIPs in an effort to push for their own. One of the VOIPs mentioned is Teamspeak. I don't know if there's anything you can do to help but I hope there is, I have wanted to join the NHS for so long now and it seems its far fetched.

@Yuri Kostofv Just to inform you, the app does NOT get invalid over time, once the app is accepted it counts forever. If you should get your TS issues resolved just come to the correct channels, hope you can get it working so you can join the NHS.

This has probably already been said but just wanted to let you know that most ISPs in Jordan block TeamSpeak and other forms of online communication

Yea mate, thanks. I figured this out and have figured out a way to avoid them. VPNs are God's gift to us
