Your In-game name: Holmesy (Teamspeak name was the default ''TeamSpeakUser''

Your Steam Profile ID: 76561198081504751

Your GUID (Using this tool input your steam ID and press enter): 3509f02f9fce24f8023cd5c03034e1fe

Date & Time you was banned: 20/05/2015 11:45:52

Please copy and paste the rule you broke: It would be all subsections of Rule 16: First one being 16A) Advertising your Altis Life server or Altis Life community on our servers/website/teamspeak or social media groups is bannable (Punishment is a permanent community ban without appeal)

Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: I don't know exactly what I did that was advertising. I've not been on teamspeak under my usual name for a week or two now and only went on to see who got promoted and the last message I sent was to Johnjoeegan saying ''Congratulations <3'' or something along those lines (I informed him of who I was)

If your ban reason is "Forum Report - Date Here" then search the forums for your in-game name and that date and link the thread here:

I banned someone at 7:54pm on the 20th with the name TeamspeakUser. They were spamming me and several others with the message "Get your own teamspeak server here <some Russian link>" in multiple languages.

Hmm - thanks for that info, Paul... I did the exact same thing, at around the same time (19:57) in response to a report from another TS User who got hit with the spam. It took a few minutes to locate the source username, which I found in the lobby - so I banned them.

I'm guessing that you probably got the real bad-guy, and I just happened to get someone with the exact-same (default) TS username lurking in the lobby - unlucky coincidence, I'm hoping.

I have removed my set of bans (IP and UID) so Holmsey *should* be able to get back on TS now.

Moral of this story is, don't try and hide on TS - or you may be misidentified with other people who hide for illicit purposes! Them's the breaks!
