My question is, as a taxi driver, how do you get paid. Do you shuttle people around and charge your own amounts? Or is it done on its own, almost like a meter. Im just unsure because i want to get a taxi license.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Having recently moved to BA from taxiing, is to charge people.

my technique was charge people what they thought was fare for the journey. People would always make their own "fare" determination. 

I also found that that with good back story and keeping the chat going was important to the journey, to the RP and the bigger fares. 

There are just not enough taxi's and I believe the licence is far too expensive vs the easier Rebel licence and weapon procurement. Making it harder to make an honest living with great RP, rather than a rebel living with with hard elicit RP when under conflict in high pressure situations.  

That said... I thoroughly enjoyed it by meeting some wonderful players and had some wonderful and unexpected feedback; but that was as a result of a good back story.

You get a message notification when someone requests a taxi; as well a a nice paint job. Key thing I also found was placement; sadly they removed the ranks which did make it harder afterwards; however parking in Kavala in the round where market/tourism/bar are is also a good place but you can get swamped by the Hub-bub of goings on and what not. My advice is to stay focused and maybe drive around Kavala letting people know you're around, as you can be flagged down a bit. 

Also so my first thing to do was to type in "OoC" " Boondogs Taxi's Online" would be rare the message didn't pop straight away. If it didn't I headed straight for the Rank.
