technically it should be able to be lowered, however i believe it is purely aesthetic and doesn't work
The taru also flies like ass, and blows its own rotors up at the worst times ever haha

I thought that there was no ability to raise/lower/drop/pick-up with the Taru and the loadmaster seat. Only the default Sling-Load with the empty Taru.
I've seen mods/scripts that allow things like that though.

That may be the case as the bench and pod are also seperate items. If this is indeed the case then there is nothing wrong with adding them.

If the Taru were to be added, what position do we all think they should take?
I think it should be a stepping stone between the mohawk and the chinook thing, maybe like 400 storage and 10 mil?

Not all of them have storage. There are many variants. What you described fits the cargo one.
I would quite like it to be implemented with zero storage but has the ability to lift, priced at the same level as the Huron. Possibly with the lifting having to be done by the load master... Costing 30 mil and requiring two people to lift would remove the possibility of trolling...
