Tanoa has now been confirmed, Altis Life UK will shortly be pointing our new domain Tanoa.co.uk to AltisLife.co.uk

We are unsure if the map will be suitable for a RP environment as very very little has been shown so far, If it is suitable then we will of course look to bring an additional server that hosts Tanoa

However as many of you know this changes nothing, Altis is still our home and will remain our main focus, Hopefully this release will bring more than jetski's and planes and hopefully we can look forward to a bus and some extra cars (if you read this Bohemia hint hint!) that we can add to Altis.

Looking forward to the planes had a bad experience on a jetski so I think i'll stay away from them :p

Thinking of the fact that their is small islands dotted around I do hope they'll bring in some new boats aswell!

Especially when it comes to drugs they could be picked at one of the smaller islands and be sold at the bigger one *water based* *hint hint*

 
Medics will have to spread over many servers! We will need more!

On the official page, the information shows that the whole map will be about 1/3 the size of Altis. it will also be a DLC for the game.  I wonder what the price will be...

​wait we're meant to log on as a medic in server 2, and I thought Kavala was bad in server 1 imagine what it's like in server 2... *shudders*

On another note in my opinion Tanoi it looks like it would make a good KIng of the Hill or an Overpoch server instead of a Life server

 
@Ciaran, if we were to switch or just have an extra server dedicated to Tanoa would we be able to move the database over with everyone's money and vehciles?

 
We wont be switching, there might be an extra server for Tanoa (if its any good.... its early days), In terms of cross database its 100% possible however its early days... look at stratis, cross database didn't work so well... we have a good 6-8 months i guess until release so we will decide nearer the time :)

​I know that people were against a whitelist only server (Myself included), but perhaps for Tanoa, you could do a whitelist only server, and keep Altis as the main one. This would allow those who bought the DLC and actually want to play on Tanoa an opportunity to.

It's a long time until release as you say. I'm sure that something will be figured out by then. 

 
If ALUK doesn't open a tanoa server, I'm gonna get a job and host a 5 slot server where the ground is lava and everyone has to use boats

owait i might do that anyway
