Swindled by the Cops?

Yes I am a dumbass, no I haven't been swindled and yes I screwed over my friend ;)

Ok to start off My friend and I were pulled over by the cops (he was wanted) but we pulled over anyways we lied to them about his identity to RP the situation and I was offered money to rat on my friend to tell the cops his identity, 200K in fact and I was very surprised as he was barely wanted so I took the offer told them what the wanted and they said wait till they got to an ATM to give me the money so I waited then I sent a Message to the Police reminding them in case they forgot and thought not too much of it then time rolled on and still no money was transferred and I still haven't got the money, so I guess this kind of is like a compensation request but as I have no proof as this was all done over voice coms and I exited the game before taking pictures of the texts I sent (which I feel very stupid not for doing now) I have got the friend that was there if that's anything at all, so really I'm just kind of looking for some attention like have I been wronged against the rules or did I get swindled by the cops and if so I feel they should not be allowed to trick people into giving information like that.

So if any admins or the like are reading this could you let me know where I stand cause at the minute I cant tell the difference between the thick or the thin ice.

Regards

- Jack

I believe you have been outplayed buddy!

Server rule-wise there isn't any rule broken by the police officers dealing with the situation, however, if you truly feel you have been scammed you might want to take this to a higher-ranking police officer and see what they have to say about this specific scenario. Maybe this kind of behaviour from a police officer is frowned upon?

I personally don't see anything wrong with what the police had done to make you coöperate, since you're the one that betrayed your friend for money! But that's just my two cents.
