Basically a recent data protection acts, and due to steam information being on the stats page it has been taken down.(AFAK)

I’m pretty sure it was just because of metagaming and game related issues, not gdpr related. Idk though, I can’t remember there ever being an explanation

Some of the previous systems had 'too much' open information that quite frequently led to people metagaming (intentionally and not). The decision to remove the stats page was made pre GDPR however the introduction of the new legislation confirmed that it wasn't a feature we really needed and thus was more hassall than it's worth to update and maintain publicly and instead the information was migrated to a staff panel. 

There are no plans for a public facing stats system in the future.

There was more reasons than just GDPR as to why the stats page/API got merked, but I'm afraid that shouldn't be discussed.

It's much more effort than what's needed to operate the API. This isn't my place to comment on such things, but in my personal opinion I think the Devs have other priorities at the moment

PS: To actually answer your question, there Is ways, but they aren't fun.
