Its been in development for some time, Haven't had the chance to view it myself but from what I have heard it will be good

A new stats page is indeed in development, in various forms such as design and the backend (done by @Vaffla).

I know it isn't much but this is about as much as I'm willing to show at the moment in regards to design (more to come soon).

If you're genuinely wondering why the final design will look a lot like google (and why the search bar also does), have a read into material design (https://material.io/), it's a standard made by Google (who obviously also use it themselves) by their designers and such.
