I like the enthusiasm and the concept however..

How do you plan to make it better than and different from the stats page we currently use?

What would be the main reason to use your version either now or in the future?

I think it’s mainly a chance for him to learn a bit of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP all at the same time

Stats page we have now is a downgraded version of the one we used to have a while ago in my opinion.. we no longer have any leaderboards, no information of the vehicles we own and no and no way to view a whole gang.(As far as I know)

We do however have a big "Coming Soon" which tells us that soon (next 10+ months we might get some new adjustments)

I do like yer stats page Arnt. From the sounds of it, it brings back a lot of features that we used to have and brings some new ones.

Like Norman said, it's mainly for learning, however to answer your question of what extra I plan to add that the current stats page doesn't support:

  1. Leaderboards
  2. Server-wide statistics (think of things like how many people are registered as police, total server GDP, even down to things like how many people own a quad)
  3. Vehicle list
  4. Other stuff people can suggest
  5. Themes depending on the faction you belong to, or if you're in the top 100 rich list, developer etc.

I tried finding myself,used Steam ID but it didn´t found me. It keeps asking if i used correct ID which i did as i have it at my forum profile. @Ant Arni

Yeah I've had a few people reporting that bug and encountered it myself one or two times... I'll try to have it fixed ASAP. For now, you can see your stats page over here: http://arni.site/stats/html/player.html?id=76561198092475951.

Alternatively, reloading the search page a few times seems to do the trick as well.

Maybe on your stats page it would show your leaderboard position, so us poor kids who aren't in the top 100 can see where we are.

That would be cool, unfortunately due to the way the API works I'd have to make a script which goes through every single player that is on the database and then rank them. Currently, there is already an excess of 200,000 database entries, meaning that a) theres a limit to how many requests I can send to the database (300 per 5 minutes) so it's simply not going to be possible unless I'm sending out requests at every possible moment, where it would take 55+ hours to fully update everyones positions (which is likely going to put a lot of strain on RPUK's servers)  b) it's way too much effort to do with the current api, I'm not a particularly lazy person but there's much better stuff I could be spending my time on

It would be great, again it's the limits of the API I'm using - it simply doesn't give me this information. Another reason for why this would be good is so that I don't have to include banned people in the leaderboards... damn waste of space!

Well, either you are wanted and you got bad information, or the server hasn't yet updated the fact that you're not wanted and sent it to the API. This is your information directly from the server itself incase you don't believe me.

The question is why i would be wanted as i rarely play as civ and last time i did i killed guy that tried to rob me and i got ticket for that. Since then i haven´t rob,kill,or did anything illegal.
