Stormtroopers were initially clones of Jango Fett, but after Palpatine made the Galactic empire (In Episode III) they stopped producing more clones and started recruiting humans instead. Even in episode IV to VI most of the stormtrooper army consists of humans.

Don`t know what to think of them myself yet but the lightsabers aside,
