Staggering on ARMA

I keep getting poor fps, from about 40-50 solid, to 25 and under. my ARMA constantly does this, although it never did when i first brought the game. I have noticed that my disk usage on task manager shoots up to 100% whenever i start to stagger, although i just brought a new SSD drive. If someone could help me diagnose this problem it would be much appreciated, as it is hard to fulfill my police duties with poor FPS in car chases etc!

my systerm;

GTX 650TI ( physix mode )

GTX 750TI

Intel core i5 3.40 GHZ.

8Gb  ram.

I ensure i have no background programs when runing arma besides teamspeak. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Arma logic.

Try punching in extra parameters that specify the cores dedicated to it. You can find a thread somewhere in here that discusses it. You can also Google "tips to increase fps". Running Razer Game Booster helps. I'd link you but I'm on mobile

May i ask what system are you using?If it's Windows 8.1 it is propably using all of your disk usage on BITS function and killing your HDD/SSD.

If you're using windows 8.1 type services.msc in the search/run tabs and find BITS feature,disable it,disabling windows search and superfetch should help aswell,this fixed my 100% disc usage problem and let my arma have stable FPS.Hope it helps!
