Can anyone recommend me a good high dpi, wired mouse with the price range of £20 to £50 that will be good for arma and everyday use.

One that would work on a desk with out a mat.

I'd highly recommend Logitech. Either the G303 (light) or G502 (heavy). They are both amazing mice around the £50 mark, with a PWM3366, 12 000 DPI sensor. It's the best sensor on the market right now (In both tracking accuracy and DPI). I'm a low DPI gamer (800 DPI) but I used to use 12 000 DPI before playing CSGO and it was just as good.

Love my Logitech G500 but it's out of production, it's been replaced by @Bricksuggestions. It also has a free-spin mouse wheel should you desire.

Great for massive scrolling through documents.

Mr @Brick, The logitech G502 won my heart and is now ordered.

Thank you for your recommendation.

Upsides.

This is the mouse I have its nice weight and good for palm and hybrid grip,

The software you can download for it means you can set the mouse lift off I have a very wierd lift and this mouse copes with it when more expensive mouses didnt have control of the lift and I ended up getting annoyed with them.

The button behind the mouse wheel is 5 sets of programmable DPi settings from I believe upto 8000Dpi (I have one at 1000, 3500, 5000, 7000)

Doesn't feel to small for me with my bear hands nor to big for my missus who has small hands.

Downsides:

Only down side is you would expect a braided line for nearly £40 and it come with a plastic line, (its not tangled tho with about 2000 hours usage)

No programmable keys if you into macro or just like having more keys on your mouse than keyboard.
