Speed cameras

I'd like to know where every camera is located on the map, or is it that you can see them on the map already? Havent played the new update yet.

Having a full map of the cameras would disregard their purpose; they're meant to be unexpected, random. They are to catch people off guard, a constant eye looming over people on the road so we can tone down the wannabe Colin McRae's. Over time people will probably learn where they are, yeah, but for the time being they are fresh and people should just slow down. It'll do you more good than harm and probably save you a few sets of gear.

TL;DR they're unmarked, just like they are in real life. They catch people when they don't expect it, making sure people drive with care.

If the speed cameras were mobile that would make sense, but many satnavs can tell you where the speed cameras are these days. I think having subtle markers would help.

In my opinion the speedcameras are just more metagaming. Even if you drive a vehicle, and when you break the speed limit, you still get wanted. How does the speedcamera know that you're driving a - stolen - vehicle? There should've been more thinking in my opinion, before actually implementing it.

The camara is taking a photo of you and since this is 2036 all pictueres are in govenment server why do you think you are getting wanted for robbing a gas station we know who are all the time that's why you are getting wanted for speeding.

And if I wear a mask? They don't see your face or anything, I like the speedcamera feature but it's too much metagaming in my opinion

That a easy one big brother is watching you. you took the mask on and our top CCT and satalite saw you did it and as followed you ever since you took it on and that's the reason you allways get wanted when you do something that is against the law

What if you put the mask on your head inside a house with closed windows? In the hallway, wherever. A satalite can't just watch inside your house. I'm remaining to my point, it's one big metagaming feature.

Alright then, we did think about that, hence I disagree that 'more thinking should have been done', let's say your car is stolen, then people run through cameras just to rack up your bounty... that's why we didn't do it to the owner.

Well they're not unmarked. They all have models in game that are the exact same as the real life counterparts. In the real world they have to have an orange/yellow backing so motorists see them. If they are just plain gray they are illegal
