Description of what happened: Me and my colleague L/Cpl Wash were running ARAC duties helping out people in need across the island. We received a distress call and pulled out a heli to get there faster since we were a ways off. Upon arriving we saw a broken down police car, which we thought odd, and I decided to land to investigate what happened and see if any police were in need of help.

Upon landing the helicopter at the side of the road we were fired upon and I was killed, not two seconds after leaving the helicopter. Absolutely no RP was given, there were no shots in the area beforehand so it was NOT an active firefight (We would have left if it were). We were merely performing our duty by responding to a distress call.

Rule broken: Rule 5 Paragraph 2; RDM

Have you tried to resolve this with the player: Yes I have. I contacted Robin AND his senior (Maratek) on teamspeak and received no inclination whatsoever to sort this out with me. I always prefer to talk it out instead of resorting to forum reports but there we go.

Person in question was revived by myself and roleplayed. He turned up to repair a stolen cop car in a middle of a firefight? Playing dumb to be fair but i leave it for a None police admin to decide.

Being involved in the incident, I feel it fair to comment. We turned up to A vehicle, and I emphasize A vehicle. When we get an emergency call that is ARAC-wide we do not know what vehicle we are going to repair, all we know is who wants their vehicle repaired. We landed in an area where there was a vehicle on the road, whether or not we realised it was a police vehicle shouldn't even come into the equation; what does it matter? We showed up to a call, it could have been any number of vehicles in the area.

When someone clearly dressed in ARAC uniforms turns up they should not be immediately fired on, without a warning. The police officer had cover, we didn't know he was there, he could have easily shouted at us to leave the area, and we would have.

 
As I said, no firefight when we arrived.

'Playing dumb'- We don't receive any details of the vehicle when we are dispatched...

As far as your roleplay went, Maratek, you revived me, restrained me and shouted at me for even being there, I asked why I was shot at and you basically told us both to piss off. So hardly sterling roleplay on your part.

And that chat log is supposed to back you up? It shows that you were unwilling to come talk to me about it, I said last chance as a point that I was getting fed up waiting for you and you reacted as if I'd just slapped your grandmother. You've been obstructive at best for this whole situation, I had hoped for better from you.

 
I was with SPC Robin when this happened and when you guys landed with the helicopter we were moving in due to the gun matatek mentioned. It was also night and we had to use night vision which with all those lights we were unable to see that you guys were arac. We were asked to engage so we done so. In communication with robin at this point he was completely unaware he had shot any arac guys. This is more of a confusion more than a blatent RDM and although you didn't know it was a firefight you were informed it was via teamspeak. I won't post again I just want you to see our point of view on why it shouldn't be treated as a RDM

 
like Maratek and Coolbreeze saying i can only agree, there was a firefight befour they arived we all thouht the Hummingbird was there the help the enemy escape we been told to kill and were not awere that those guys were ARAC becaus of night time and the chopper making a smokescreen wiht his main rooter i Shot the pilot when it landed. AM im sry that i shot the rong guys but you lost nothing what so ever and got revived and you were told what happent and still you wanne report :'(

Didn't receive indication it was a firefight. If you mean afterwards, this is hardly a pre-warning.

I went ahead with a report because no attempt was made to speak to me beforehand. I waited a long time before posting this, giving you guys ample opportunity to come sort it out.

well ofcourse we didnt inform you before hand we had no pre-warning you were coming in so you can't exactly use that as a point really and also we never came down because maratek had spoke to you and we know this because we asked maratek. I don't see why you had to go put this on the forum when to our knowledge it was sorted and as several of us stated it was an accident of a gun fight. You lost nothing and the situation was explained to you.

We aren't using that as a point, YOU did in your previous message. Maratek did appear on scene, with another officer/admin, and we were happy to sort it and leave it there.. However, Maratek decided he was going to be abusive towards us, calling us idiots and refusing to even listen to a word we are saying, trying to strong arm us into submission. We then asked Maratek to get in touch with us, and he buggered off for over an hour until we told him it was going to end up on the forums. We never spoke to SPC Robin who is the man being reported in the first place, so as far as it goes the issue was never really "Resolved" we were just willing to let it go, until Maratek proved he can not conduct himself professionally in the field.

Oh video doesn't show whole incident, roleplay was Initiated afterwards Sometime near the end of that video You spotlighted a Stolen police car You were in a Rebel hummingbird, or at least skinned,

It was dark you were not in an arac car and you landed a few feet from entrenched rebels.

I believe you should play smarter.
