So the skill system is in place, of course it needs a little bit of tweaking but we do hope you are enjoying the skills we have so far and the way it works.

This thread is about all getting inside the think tank to come up with new skills and benefits they will give.

Please submit yours below now and who knows if they are good they could be coded into our server very soon!

Wanking Skill Level = Master.

 
-Thief: The same as repairing but then with lockpickin
-Athlete: Run faster
-Marksman: Hold breath longer (looking in a scope)

Skill idea:

Basically skills which speed up the process of processing your resources (be it legal or illegal), for example:

 - Copper Proficiency (~% decrease to copper processing time)

 - Iron Proficiency (~% decrease to iron processing time)

 - Oil Proficiency (~% decrease to oil processing time)

etc. One for each resource, including illegal resources.

 
As a Reverend, I feel I should have a unique "God Mode" levelling system. 

I can't see anyone objecting to that. 

 
Report Immunity - With each successful arrest thats RP'd the chances of you getting reported by a crying gang lowers by 10% each level.

Why not make it more of a Proficiency increase or something instead of having sub-diversions for each processing, in the end its all processing it....and then a sub-diversion for processing drugs, so its like a table like

  • Legal Processing +25% speed 
  • Legal Processing +50% speed
  • Copper processing speed +75%
  • Iron processing speed +75%
  • Oil Processing speed+75%
  • ------
  • Illegal processing +25% speed
  • Cocaine Processing +50 speed
  • Weed Processing +50% speed
so forth, and even adding a option to be able to use the pickaxe outside of the "Y" menu, which is very slow compared to actual picking up cocaine or weed?

The reason I did it like that is so it is slightly more challenging to get a boost in the processing of each resource; i'm not sure how much this idea will affect how quickly people will make money, and thus how 'OP' it may be.

However, I do the sound of your version much more. Even though I think the speed increase may be a little too much they can be changed according to the developers discretion.

Some of these should not be skills. They should be traits which are passively gained skills that are acquired by hitting a milestone.

Also. Please be careful with combat oriented skills. They could cause a large imbalance on all sides and destroy the experience i.e people suggesting stuff like Juggernaut which gives more HP.

So would you say it be more of something like this then?

  • Legal Processing Speed increasement +25%
  • Legal Harvesting Speed increasement +25%
  • Illegal Processing Speed increasement +25%
  • Illegal Harvesting Speed increasement +25%
Harvesting, how long it take to the action of picking legal/illegal goods from the resources within Altis Life.

Or even some skills to effect the speed of the tempest device? or skills relating to discount like a skill todo with selling goods or even getting a selectable discount?

also how many skill points would a player be able to muster?

Sleight of hand - Reload Faster

Fast Hands - Switch weapon faster and throw smoke faster.

Toughness - Flinch less when shot.

Ninja - No foot noises.

(May or may not be looking at the Black Ops perk list)

Mad scientist - Ability to make health potions, poisons and and other potions that may give you some aid.

Waterboy - Ability to last longer under water.

Born Survivor - Ability to drink your own piss to be self sufficient.

Do u even lift bro? - Ability to carry more items.

Streamline - Ability to swim faster.

 
Serious:

Negotiator : Increases the price of objects to sell by XX%

Mechanic: Toolkits dont get used up if you repair your vehicle

Logistics Expert: Your storage increases by XX%

 
I don't think it's possible to change anything BI themselves added, although I do like NilsTheGermans idea regarding logistics expert.

Perhaps

The Hauler - Increases house inventory capacity by 15%

The Connoisseur - increases effect of Weed by 3 minutes (A fun one for Vlad)

Dogs Tricks - Decreases the price of Bounty hunter tips by 50%

The Olympian - Increases the effect of red bull for 3 minutes
