sidechat dissapearing (whole chat)

so after being on any other arma 3 sever for 15 - 20 mins side chat disappears and doesn't come back, this can be annoying as if some one need to // me some thing and i cant see it can cause a problem 

if you know how to fix this please help

I believe to hide it you can do something like Shift Windows and C (or something that involves C and the shift/windows/ctrl buttons)

I don't know if that'll work to show it again though, but just avoid that key combo ?
