Is there any thread or list as to where items can be found. I've found the standard clothes shop, market etc. But i'm looking for more interesting items. Mask, rifles etc and i'm struggling to find anything. Thanks.

I guess you can look at the comp list here. It shows all the items and the price.

For Rifles and illegal stuff go to the rebel outposts, seen at the South and east of the map. Blackmarkets are also an option. (You will need the 500k ish license)

Expanding on what Ali said, the blackmarket is in the UNMC boarder which is much safer as its much more rare to be robbed but make sure you stop off at the checkpoint and paying like a 4K fee to go through otherwise UNMC will hunt you down and execute you like they did to me.
