ShipWreck Diving - GUIDE -

ShipWreck Diving is a way to get nice treasure and loot, which you can sell for nice moneys.

ShipWreck Diving is not difficult, only you need time and some gear.

Gear

Yes you need some gear to go ShipWreck Diving. Here's a list with all the gear you need:

Wetsuit: available at the Diving shop (its the Boat shop @Kavala)*
Rebreather: available at the Diving shop (its the Boat shop @Kavala)*

Diving Goggles: available at the Diving shop (its the Boat shop @Kavala)*

Excavator: available at the Market

*You need a Diving Licence to buy this gear

Licenses

Yes also those licenses are required again  ^_^ . Here's the list:

Diving License: available at the Diving shop (its the Boat shop @Kavala)

Boating License: available at the DMV

Vehicles

Yes also need a Boat. Buy one at the Boat Shop (motor boat recommended)

The Wrecks

There are a few kind of wrecks around. They just spawn randomly arround the map and are marked with a !. In drugboat wrecks you can find more drug stuff (cocaine, heroin etc.) and in the other wrecks the 'normal things' (diamonds, silver, pearl, ties, lock pick). 

How to collect the treasure?

Go to the wreck with your boat. If you are there go into the water and dive down to the wreck. Press Y to open the PlayerMenu, select the Excavator and press use. You're now collecting the treasure! I recommend to remove the bad treasure (lock picks, ties) out of your inventory and take only the good stuff. Now you can sell the items you found and spend the money in the night club or something.

nice guide but a few things to add to it, Do you not require rebel license to purchase a rebreather, im sure i couldn buy it from the normal diving shop, you can buy the other stuff at any diving shop not just kavala, and where do we sell the treasure we collect ?

You don't need a rebel license for a rebreather and the other things i've just edited 

And where you can sell it depents on what you find, Drugs @ drugsdealer, Pick lock @ market etc.

Can someone tell me whats the average profit you can make by looting one of those ships?

Team of 4 divers and two helicopters will net you roughly 1m an hour total, split that between you i guess. that is if you have direct access to the beach

If you want to land, dont forget to get permission from police, they will also let you know if it is dangerous !!

p.s. if you see an arac member on the beach don't bother landing he camps the antique dealer and the drug dealer with a couple of mates hidden in houses.
