Server Locked?

As title, tried to log in after the 12am restart and could not due tot he server being locked?  Can anyone shed any light on this, is this a normal/routine thing?  Thanks in advance.

 
I have not been on after the midnight restart but from Wilco's post in the development section: http://www.altislife.co.uk/topic/18761-new-spawn-intro/#entry116470 and it being an update, they lock the server for a certain amount of people to log in to update and then when they have done it they let the next lot in and lock it until its full again. This is to stop 120 people downloading and updating the game at once and causing major sync and lag issues. Just keep refreshing the servers and you will see it unlocked again.

With that section I linked, Wilco and Ciaran will post about new updates and I guess depending on the complexity/progress of the update will give us a time scale as to when it will be implemented like they did with this update at midnight.
