Server Events

The staff team would like to start putting on events again. But we can only think of so many ideas. This thread is to collect ideas of events for the staff team to run. 
In the past, we have done singing events, derby events, racing events and much more.

If you have an idea for an event post it in this thread using the following template. When we get a good list of events i will make an announcement listing upcoming events. (I plan to get around 5-6 events planned before i make the post)

Obvs its no longer ran by FFG and im head of events team at the moment.
So getting together ideas from this post onwards so its all in one place.

Your event title: Dirt rally 

Description of event (Please go into detail or it may be rejected): Dirt roads only from a - b  in hatchback sports maybe over some mountains? rough idea but yeah set a course off road everyone has to rally in the sportys, can imagine people going flying from mountains and a lot of laughs, like i said very rough idea,

Requirements (E.G. Admin support, will it involve any factions?): Hatch back sports, lots of them

Are there any event ideas left from the previous 3 posts this year? I know @DSGT Fergus has been waiting basically a year to run his event...

Fergus can do his event whenever he wants, he's just got to RP it - arrange it with the cops, NHS, get participants etc No one is going to do it for him, it's his event - As I told him previously. He already got the thumbs up, it's entirely at his door.

Your Event title: Race across Altis

Description of Event: People enter themselves on the forums and then there is a set "race" day like twice a month. Everyone who races gets a vehicle of their choice such as a Hatchback (Sport), Offroad, 4 WD, Karts ect. For example one week it could be Karts only. People  race to the finish line and who ever wins gets a reward of some description such as a cash prize (in-game) I know this is quite a rough idea but I think this would be very enjoyable. 

Requirements: Admin Support (or someone to start and determine the winner of the race)

Your Event title: Clown hunt 2.0 (Man-Hunt)

Description of Event: Last year around the time of Halloween there was an event where multiple Admins/Player were given a unique skin and their purpose was to make sure they didn't get caught. A server wide message was broadcast putting a bounty on these Clowns heads for anybody who can detain one of them and bring them back to Kavala Square! I remember it being very fun, with everyone searching for these individuals, whoever can bring them safely to Kavala square would get a cash prize ! (Furthermore it doesn't have to be a clown, could be a zombie, Santa, etc.) !

Requirements: A unique and identifiable skin for certain players.

Your event title: Altis Airshow 2016 2017 2018

Description of event (Please go into detail or it may be rejected): Well, there's an Airshow for NPAS, Air Rescue and UNMC Airborne to have a go at, pulling off stunts and doing whatever will make people happy. There will be a Police presence with searches going on at every end of the airport due to the heightened security. Tickets will be whatever it says on the document and I've explained it all to FFG but I guess it's you next.

Requirements (E.G. Admin support, will it involve any factions?): Police, NHS, UNMC, Civilians providing they aren't time wasters and Land Police / NHS to help with security / people who can't fly.

Your event title: Police Open Day

Description of event (Please go into detail or it may be rejected): A period of time where a police station (Most likely Kavala) would be opened up to the public, all of the different specialised units of the police would be there to allow the civilians to gain an insight into the workings of the police. On the day recruitment could be sorted so that civilians who are impressed by the police could  sign up on the day, this would hopefully help the police bring our numbers back up...

Requirements (E.G. Admin support, will it involve any factions?): Involves the police faction and would require little to no staff intervention.

Your event title: Altis X-Factor

Description of event (Please go into detail or it may be rejected): It has been done before and I believe that it should be done again! The Altis X-Factor where people come and show off their unique talents, within the limitations of Arma of course. (Singing I imagine will be quite popular) Anyone can get involved and the winner is awarded a prize, say something like 500k?

Requirements (E.G. Admin support, will it involve any factions?): Possibly will require admin support.

Your event title: The Infection 

Description of event (Please go into detail or it may be rejected): The land of Altis has been plagued with infection from the water sources! The only way to escape it is to create a makeshift gas mask (Found in your local store) and evacuate to the land of the UNMC! If you have no vehicle, the police will be transporting evacuees to the border!! This will be hard as it is heavily guarded and the infected will try to get in as well! NHS and Police will be at the border to assess evacuees to see if they are fit to enter the land of the UNMC! If found to be infected they will be quarantined! With the infection at large could the UNMC and Police finally find a way to get along! Those infected will try to do whatever they can to get to the land of the UNMC to infected the whole of the land and it’s your chance to stop them! 

Requirements (E.G. Admin support, will it involve any factions?): This will require support from all factions and admin support as I want this to be a server wide event. Weather Changes and such would give it a great atmosphere to cause panic. Will be willing to get involved with the structure of the event!
