Server 2 Role-play On the 24/04/2016

I'm not happy with most of the rebals today, I will not be giving out gang names but, you know who you are. All I've dealt with today is gunfights, Hm's, Ifrits trolling. @FOXTROT I've patrolled for 7 hours. The only good role play season I got was taking someone to prison. 

All that's happened to today is gunfight after gunfight. It's getting to the point where I don't want to play. This is a serious role-play server not wasteland. Getting out an ifrit so us police chasing it's annoying. Most of the time the outcome is us dying due to snipers on the hill waiting for us to initiate. I really expect better of the rebals.

I really hate this when cops go "oh look a rebal took a ifrit out let's massage then on ts for baiting" look a ifrit is a thing that was put in, plus if you see a iflt and there is a lot of people around why don't you value your life a bit and not chase it.

A lot of people get Ifrits out to actually roleplay but their is always those that want the gunfight, what I did for a while was just ignore them in their Ifrit and not chase them as a lot of the time thats what they want, give it a try they soon get bored.

I'd like to think you can't find a gunfight unless you are looking and acting to get one. 

It's really not that hard to just retreat or approach a rebel group with your guns lowered, because than there won't be a reason to shoot, right?

Both sides could improve, but I'm not going to argue about that because its never ending discussion and usually it never goes anywhere. 

I see what you mean by "ifrit trolling" some people takes it out for the sake of getting cops after you and trying to escape from them and there is not any roleplay behind it. Usually if I have ifrit out, I try avoid highways and public roads so there is higher chance that it will not be spotted by the police. When I'm roleplaying and using ifrit in my rebel roleplay it shows wealth and power to have one out and its useful for all kinds of robberys and illegal activies I might do.

Lets put this in this way. What if every time rebels see hunter on the road and we start chasing it and we want to get that hunter. Everytime it ends up in a gunfight if we do not give up or we keep chasing it.

edit. Its same thing if you see hunter you can except that there is a lot of heavily armed people inside it and there will be backup if they feel that there is threat. Same things goes when you see ifrit.

Mine got scrapped when I was trying to escape some robbers.... If o remember correctly you were the pink ifrit being pulled over by a CSO in kavala.... Well i drove off and 3 cars were following me to agios where the police were and they just scrapped it... :/

This post works both ways.. I could argue that police are always looking for a gunfight based on the recent encounters I have had with them, yes this is a serious roleplay server but we need to remember it is a army game and there is guns which 9/10 will lead to a gunfight..

Based on your ifrit argument again we can say it about Police as well because if they have a hunter out will make rebels want to get it.

Surely you can bring more things to this post that are perhaps constructive than some annoying popcorn .gif's that are simply put here to cause drama themselves.

Well to be fair police need to do their job, which is mainly stopping illegal activities. So when they see armed rebels and they're not outnumbered they usually go for the arrest. This will often lead to gunfights as a lot of rebels will not comply with them.

I have to agree with Catebus. I recently went to help a rebel who was getting shot at. After we managed to stop the people shooting at him, he turned to me and said "You are being held up, give me your guns or my sniper will shoot and kill you"

this happens all the damn time now. Whenever I stop anyone, I always look to RP but recently I've stopped that because I know I will either a) be held up b)taken hostage or c) shot dead.

When the time comes when rebels complain that police are trigger happy, I will remind them of the times I tried to RP, only to have a negative taste in my mouth.

Unfortunately it's a vicious circle. Not all cops have rubbish RP; Not all Rebels do either but each side always seems to be remembered for the bad eggs.

The fact is that *most* cops shoot first and ask questions later and *most* rebels shoot first and steal your spike strips later. Like Benny said it is a vicious circle, one cop does something to a rebel and he'll think it's going to happen again, so he reacts negatively towards them next time he seems a member of the police force. I would like to quote Gordon Ramsay since I can't use gifs anymore.

I would hope people in the police are more mature not to go looking for gunfights. As far as the hunters being pulled out I have no say in the operation.  The post was generally made for the people that was on server 2 last night.

I've roleplayed my Ifrit plenty of times without getting scrapped/arrested

Special trash disposal truck, Prop for the new Terminator 8 movie being shot on Altis, Iron Horse for the knights quest etc...

I would like to remind certain parties if you break out an Ifrit for the cops to chase you to get in a gun fight, that in my eyes is "Baiting" and I would probably take action on that.
