Selling weapons?

Hey yea I just wanted to make sure here before I actually get full on into this, But I was wondering if you were able to Role Play as a black market weapons salesman by selling VIP club weapons to people and delivering weapons etc. It would be too expensive too new players but people who've been playing for a little bit could afford the stuff (100k+). 

I just want to make sure it's not against server rules or isn't allowed before I continue.

Just remember to RP everything. Side chat is not RP. So you would need to find the someone, using voice chat and offer to sell them... Selling them on side chat I believe would be frowned upon and could result in a ban for persistent use. 

On a personal note I do not agree with this as it is using real money to gain financially in game, even if it is indirectly. I would wait for an admin before you do anything.

I'm selling the items at almost the same price I would only make somewhere between 50-100k from a job which would be anywhere from 30minutes to an hour. So it's not really a gain. I would just like to do it for the great Rp situations in my opinion. It pretty much opens up a whole new door of Rp For me atleast.

As I said it is my opinion, It was banable to even give someone weapons bought from the donator shop at one time...

He dose he a good sales man role he takes awhile to roleplay to try sell a gun or vests telling you the range of them what's best for what use and ammo it holds barrel of the gun and he sell it for almost the same price as he gets them for he mostly makes his cash on his transport service of the goods thats 20k any where on the island so takes him around 30-45 mins to sell a single gun. And he always at risk of just getting shot down getting pulled over by the cops while he smuggling his goods across the island. I think it's good and he don't just sell to anyone

I've handed out free rooks in Kavala before and the only issue I had was a warning from the police in regards to giving weapons to people without firearms licenses.

Not sure if it's metagaming, but you could check the stats page and check their licenses yourself and then put up some convincing RP to go with it e.g. you've spoken to the police/firearms licensing service/ask them for a copy of their certificate and reject it if they don't have a license and say it's forged etc)

. And that doesn't help the fact that Kevala is a rdm fest half of the time arming the hobos with the mean to kill and rob everyone in the city also where most new player spawn not rally a good 1st impression.

Yea that's why I generally try and avoid selling to hobos, The only people I really sell to or try and sell to are people with some stuff already. Largest backpack, some different clothes etc. Just any sign that they didn't just join the server. Plus I avoid giving out my business card in kavala. Just in other parts of the island. I do deliver to kavala though.

Ah that wouldn't really work if you're a black market weapons dealer now would it it wouldn't really make much sense if I were to sell guns that are illegal to people who have a legal fire arms license.

How are you thinking of actually selling them items? On a truck? At your own house? Seems like your forgetting the sneaky little robbers. If anyone steals your vehicle full of armament, your done... Good idea would be to arrange different locations on every sale you made.

Well I was going to deliver them to where ever they wanted. But yea none of this really matters now since I probably wont be on the server for much longer.

Actually the "rooks for rookies" program as it was called, was a big success till the police shut me down (at the time I couldn't verify who had licenses).

I'm not a complete idiot (although I may look like it in game at times) and I think I can spot a decent new player out of a pack of hobos.

It was designed for new players that were poor and unarmed in the hope they might defend themselves from the more experienced, but less honest players online at the time, and each one was handed out with a bit of education on how to holster a weapon and where and when to shoot (i.e. rp at all times).

That actually sounds like a lot of fun, It also gave me an idea to maybe start up a fire arm training company, Where you would be taught how to use a fire arm and how to carry and the basic laws of said fire arm. With also the possibility of having a a green light from a high commanding officer to fire some Assault rifles or something as long as the police know exactly how many there are on the grounds and as long as they don't leave that area. Would make for some interesting Rp situations I feel like.
