Selling house when someone is robbing it.

OK, back story. 

We drive past a house and notice it has storage boxes in it, we get the bolt cutters, we come back to see the guy inside the house, boxes still there.

A guy holds his friend up who is waiting outside as we run to the back, as I am about to break the door he sells the house and says "nothing in the house dumbass, so"

Is this powergaming? he knew what we were about to do and sold up so we could not rob him, seems a bit shitty

Not only is it powergaming, it's also heavily non-RP. However, as much as you missed out, he probably sacrificed a lot there if he was desperate enough to sell it. Still non-RP though.

Nope sorry was too busy trying to watch that  Name:Abdi Jamal alqiuid  guy as he was robbing everyone with fail RP i just happened to be on admin duty in that house.
