Seriously, who cares. These are entirely COSMETIC items that do not affect game-play in the slightest. People that enjoy the game and put many hours into it can pay a little extra to look a little different and support the continued development of the franchise. No-one is forcing you to buy the items.
Items from this Workshop that are accepted for sale will pay the creators a split of the revenue if that item is sold for a fee."
User Generated Content is voted into the game by the consumers who would be looking to purchase it. If successful, the company makes money and so does the creator...I personally don't see anything bad with it
Trust in Fat Shark they made games with a similar style of play. They made War of the Roses and noticed alot of flaws with armor and weapon balancing due to their mechanics.(For example shields were hard as hell to break and blocked all angles when up.) So they made War of the Vikings which solved those problems,by picking an earlier time period and then enhancing game mechanics and functions while having less advanced armor and weapons due to the time pperiod.
