Which is the better way to make money compared to time, because last time I did salt I only got about 450k per hemtt whereas when I do diamonds I can get 550k with it. Which is the better way overall

In my personal opinion, I believe that in most ways Diamonds is better overall but its main downside is how the trader is smack bang in the middle of agios, so you can't sell it incognito you'd be right in public eye (avoidable if you play it smart)
But risk comes reward, if you get the perks which increase your overall money gained from Diamonds, hoo boy, that is quite a decent payout. (Diamonds will more then likely take you longer to-do)
Or instead of doing either of the above you could go Illegal (which will have a higher payout) but then you'd be tussling with the Five-O.
