Rust - Anyone still playing it ?

So with the recent building hype of Reign of kings and people returning to minecraft when there not on Altis....

Has anyone seen the latest rust update, and does anyone play it still ?

 
I've never played it to be honest but I'd have liked to, just don't have anyone to play with.. I've heard good things about it, but it changed DRASTICALLY at one point in development to a sort of zombie survival didn't it, or the other way around, they may have removed all the zombies.

A good RP server on rust would be fun, because most servers are KOS.. :)

 
The fact that theyre rebuilding the map from Legacy will bring back a lot of old players, plus the current changes really make it look beautiful. Comparing a Legacy modded server with a modded Experimental server is like comparing a VW Beetle with a Porsche 911. The resource utilization has improved a lot and a top end Legacy server with 150 - 200 players were struggling at times while the new branch probably could handle 500 players (default) without very much hassle.

agreed.

Rust is in my blood.  RP server would be awesome although Garry needs to make it a little more RP friendly.

I used to play it religiously before joining this server. Then, of course, I joined ALUK and since then Rust has not been touched.

Same here, sat on my own server from morning until late night all summer ... every day some 12-14 hours went into it.

 
I played from time to time, haven't played in a long while though. I might have to jump on with you guys at some point in the future and see what's changed.
