My previous computer died and I have got a new one and re-downloaded Arma.

I have not got any of my old profiles ( characters ) on this computer with all my gear, levels etc on it.

Are my Arma profiles completely gone now or is there a way to get them back?

I thought that it would all be done through steam, but loading the game I have no profiles, just a new one it made for me which obviously won't have any of my stuff on.

Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

did you actually loaded into the server? as all you money is stored server side, by your steamaccount.

No since the name was not what I wanted.

yes, if you are using the same steamaccount

Your ingame stuff is saved to the server DB linked to your steam account. Sounds like you lost your arma 3 profiles but they can just be remade, everything server wise will still be there.

the profiles are litteraly just editor missions and settings rest is all down to servers
