Just seeking some guidance on a particular RP scenario I've found myself in a couple of times.. Say you hear someone coming, and you face their direction. Both of you have guns drawn, but the one coming to you aims at you and says 'drop the gun, and put your hands up'. What is considered the correct roleplay before I can defend myself against the person trying to rob me? The two times it's happened I have responded with 'How about you drop your gun or let me walk' which is followed by him getting the first bullet off right after I stop talking ending in my death. I'm just seeking clarification if he enables RP by attempting to rob me in that scenario is it license to shoot him? Or guidance to make my RP better in such a situation. Thanks in advance.

Non hostile counter roleplay is probably the best way forward, it prevents them from straight away shooting you as (depending on the standard of roleplay) it would be RDM.

Its difficult to say what the RIGHT thing to do is as, well anything is the right thing (apart from RDM..) as it's roleplay!
