So as I understand them the rules as they are right now highly favor robbers. As you all know in combat the person with his gun out and ready first almost always wins. I was just wondering at what point is combat initiated and role play ends. For example the other day I had just finished a profitable copper run and I had a lot of cash. Someone ambushed me outside the copper dealer and told me to stop with his rifle drawn. In response I pulled my pistol and shot him. I felt the fact that he was giving me orders and had a rifle out which I perceived as a immediate threat constituted defending myself. I then turned myself in and the officer agreed that I was indeed justified. However reading other questions on here and the official rules leads me to believe that I actually broke the rules? So I am just supposed to let someone rob me after I spent hours getting money? I know the UK is different but where I live in the U.S. I could legally kill someone for much much less with almost no repercussion. I am just confused because I personally perceive actions to be RP as well and just because someone doesn't say a threat his gun pointing at my face says otherwise. If he did not have a gun drawn I would have complied with his request. I have been accused multiple times of RDM now because people think I should just let them rob me.
