All right, I've been thinking about ways to improve my roleplay, as I find other people's roleplay of much higher quality than mine own, but I am not really sure how to go about this. I do realise there's no specific way on how to be a good roleplayer, but I would deeply appreciate any feedback, that could potentially help.

For me It has never been about "Who has the best RP" But "Who puts the most effort in"

Be creative, think out the box those are the roleplay scenarios people will remember!

Like John said, roleplay is very creative. Try and make scenarios which nobody has encountered before which will provide a good roleplay experience for both yourself and the people who you are roleplaying with.

I thought you were going to sleep, you hobo. Thanks for the answer. I'll have a thinking session.

PS: kek

The best way to RP is to not take advice from other people pal, honestly. For example in the Police when they all want to impound a vehicle they will say "Bob come impound this car at the gas station". This is basic RP that nearly every officer uses, because it's basic no one really notices it. But for example if you said something like "Disptach this is AT465 to dispatch we have a unattended vehicle left by the side of the road can we get anrac to remove it" this makes for much better rp and it's also verbally pleasing. Best advice i can give is make it up as you go!

I think the best way to go about this is to try to have fun, and try to help other people to have fun.

Roleplay something that will improve both your own and other peoples gaming experience, because at the end of the day; We all play to enjoy ourselves.

I usually roleplay through an RCO and I've been told that I'm a class A roleplayer

I bet I could roleplay better with an LRPS *cough*Lemmen4ar

"oh shit where the car go"

Load lethals
something I can relate to

@Danish role play is a lot like acting if you've ever been in drama.

Find a charachter you enjoy and simply be the person and do as they would do.

It's not about being the best or improving quality it's about truthfully being what you are and thinking as you do. No one can role play exactly like someone else so simply be unique is my advice.

Most of all, Enjoy yourself!!! That is what it is all about being as someone else would and doing as they would with a smile on your face.

I usually find that it's the small little details that make it, you don't just revive someone, you get a first aid kit / supplies then help them. Usually faster = less rp, = lower quality. But too long can be cringy and awkward.

Also they don't have to be something that no-one has seen before, as long as they're fresh-ish and haven't been overused to death and are entertaining to both parties then it should be good.

Totally agree, it can be very difficult. What I've been trying is to create a character that is semi-based on a movie character, I've seen said movie a number of times and so I feel I kind of now how the character would react to this and this situation and try to emerge myself as much as possible into the fact that "it's not Alex making the choices here, what he would do or say is irrelevant"

Yeah well.... I always like to check the forums before I go to sleep. Also I warned you not to say that word so you'll be getting a spanking later 😂

Create an in-depth backstory for your character. Give him an interesting past. Think what would this guy be like if he'd experienced the things in your backstory. Personality, likes, dislikes etc.  Spend some time on it and you'll find it a fun exercise.

Now you have an idea of what your character is like, go out and RP as though you were this dude. You don't need to change your accent or put on a funny voice, just assume the personality traits of your character and see how it goes.

Not a lot of people RP 'character's in this game sadly. Most RP themselves.
