My heart goes out to those that have lost their lives at the Manchester Arena last night. 22 confirmed dead and 59 injured after explosions at the Ariana Grande concert last night, we will not let terrorism divide us, we are a strong country always have been. Hotels nearby have been taking in children separated from their parents just goes to show this country is still full of good people!

Terrorism has no religion.
ok.

my heart does go out to the lost lives and their families.

but i must say the ISIS (islamic state of Iraq and Syria), is litterally saying 'islam' in its name...

and since i live in israel i can say that over 95% of terror attacks are from people with that kind of opinion or very similar opinions.

("Islam is a religious system begun in the seventh century by Muhammad.")

i guess there is a religion in terrorism after all?

Terrorism has no EXACT religion. No 1 religion is the sole cause of terrorism, each religion has its own extremist groups that commit horrible acts in the name of their belief, however that's often a warped and twisted truth from what that religion actually is.

Therefore to generalise terrorism; "Terrorism has no religion".

In other words; my condolences for all those in Manchester that no only died, were injured but to those that now have to live with that memory throughout their life.

Thanks to the emergency services for such a quick response.

Well said, lets keep this post civil and all pay our respects to those affected

Terrorism has no religion. It is not just a saying. It is people like US, the VICTIMS who fail when we say ''This is religion''. It is not. It is barbarism. It is xenophobia. But when we get scared to live our lives the way we do, when we dumb ourselves down to blaming an entire religion, they have already won. That is what they want. Us vs them mentality. The more they scare us, the more they incite us to hate a entire religion, the more we should stand together as HUMANS from all religions and backgrounds and say; We will not be scared, we will not stop living our lives, we will not stop being tolerant and we will keep reaching out our hands to everyone who wants to live in peace and dignity.

Terrorists may follow a religion, but let us not give them what they want and identify them as their religion. Let's identify them for what they are; barbaric murderous people with no regard for live or liberty, who wish to oppress and shove their way of life down others throats.

Ask any sensible Muslim, who loves his family and wishes to leave in peace with anyone around him, and they WILL tell you;

This is not a Muslim, who blew himself up. Because if he was, he would not have even thought of being there.

And, besides that, when someone says ''Terrorism has no religion'' isn't it a telltale case of indoctrination that everyone immediately jumps on the Muslim bash bandwagon? Let me point out something:

Timmothy McVeigh (killed hundreds of people in a bomb attack in the USA)

IRA (Irish Republican Army)

ETA (Spanish separatists)

RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion, left wing extremist terrorism in Germany 70/80's)

Anders Breivik (killed dozens of SocialDemocrat children on a holiday camp in Norway)

Charlston Church Shooting (A white supremacist in USA killed 9 black people at a church)

Wisconsin Sikh Temple Shooting (A white supremacist in USA killed 6 people in a Sikh temple because he assumed they were Muslims)

I could go on and on but I think I made my case.

It is not just a saying.

''Terrorism is the use of violence or threat of violence especially against civilians in the pursuit of political aims, religious, or ideological change.''

So besides the fact that today I stand with all those who lost someone and who have people injured, I also spare some thoughts today for all peace loving Muslims around the world, who will once again be blamed, looked at with suspicion and be shunned for what they believe and how they look (Because a LOT of the people that get named ''Muslims'' by the majority of the western population after things like this, are actually just people from Arabic origin and not necessarily practicing Muslims!)
