tbh, it's circumstantial, there are steps you can take to get in, just not garunteed to help every time.
Whilst Spectating:
- press escape, disconnect, pick a different slot, connect.
- rejoin server ( can take a couple of tries).
- restart game (don't see how this would make a difference, however it worked for some).
- close your eyes and imagine your the person playing.
