Resources despawn when you store vehicle?

I'm sure this is probably only relevant to the unique resource this happened with: URANIUM

Is it intentional that this despawns if you store the vehicle that is full of it? 

Not really a big deal. BUT - are there any other resources that despawn if you store the vehicle? So people, like myself, don't bother making ash-angels in the fields of molos for no reason.

All illegal virtual items despawn if you store your vehicle in a garage. Uranium is illegal therefore it would have removed it. If you want to store it somewhere consider buying a house

If you buy a house tho make sure your wife and kids are not home unless you wanna stop paying for electricity cause they will glow.
