Requesting emergency help!

Thanks to forces beyond my control my PC has been rendered out of action. The only fix is a 6 pin to 8 pin male to male adapter for my psu and Motherboard. 

Where can I get one of these and what are they called? This very negligence has had me in similar situations before and you would think that I would learn.

i thought i'd share a story here. i bought a LP4 to 6 pin adapter and it killed my power supply then i got a LP4 to SATA and it killed my hard drive (well it was a seagate so it was broken from day 1). hopefully your luck is better than mine with adapters and hopefully you dont have to buy

Go down to your local tech store and ask them for advice, most of them will do it for free if you can explain your issue and what kind of cable you need to what kind of hardware
