Why is that when you report a civilian the civilian gets banned or not banned. When a cop get reported they just end up with a comment in the post "Been dealt with locking" with most of the time no effect happened or what has happened. Or they just get a pending review and never gets get done. Why is that this happens? And why don't they just get reported like any player?

Now you might think I am buthurtt. I am not, I'm in the force myself. I just want to know why.

Lets take these two reports as examples:

I think for the most part, cops are long time players on the server and face being de-moted or in severe cases kicked off the force... 

Plus, as you know, cops get a really hard time. But Bob's Gif above covers everything else. ;-)

 
Whilst I can't answer your question, it might be worth considering the sheer amount of complaints about cops - some valid, most not. Most people when arrested, fined or had vehicles and weapons confiscated and/or scrapped feel aggrieved and instantly lodge a spurious report on the forum.

When you consider that a cop probably has a lot more interaction with other players it's easy to understand that it's more likely a cop will receive a report at some point.

I'd assume there are so many scenarios and so many reports they need investigating and from some of the ones I've seen. although a cop has killed they've acted in the capacity they're expected to act in but the 'victim' doesn't see it this way.

 
I do get your point with that cops usually have more time on the server than civilians(Keep in mind though that some rebels have been here longer than most of the police force :) ). But in my eyes that should just mean that they should know the rules even better and be a front picture for civilians and not that they cannot be reported get a penalty. 

Your saying there is a lot of invalid reports on cops? There is just as many invalid on civilians if not more. Normally these posts are made by kids that leave the server a week or two later anyway.

The drama bait in this thread is unreal LOL. If I'm honest Cool you are looking for drama for no reason. Why don't you just play the game? Some of the Police Force actually had a bollocking recently referring to the Athira incident, but I guess you wouldn't remember that?

What do you mean no reason? I just want to know why since I believe its unfair. There must be some valid reason for how it is done.

Unfair? We do something clearly wrong and we get told off. Both of the situations you posted were resolved already, The situation about CI God + others was resolved. The situation between you and Commando was resolved.

You were actually BANNED because of actually breaking a rule clear cut on camera and then saying "Woops" after it. Commando didn't break any rules, you spawn an Ifrit in and a higher officer is allowed to scrap it, you buy an Ifrit on the VIP Island and that is the only point it CANNOT be scrapped.

CI God & DI Bob's 'misconduct' was sorted out via external means and also the report was withdrawn from the person who made it?! So why wouldn't the topic be closed?

This is the most blatant piece of Drama-bait I have ever seen, you actually cannot contain yourself and you love to cause trouble, it's absolutely ridiculous, here is YOUR ban appeal for RDMing:  YOU broke a rule to escape arrest. Stop moaning so much for Christ sake, you would think that you actually don't like playing this game at all.

Not speaking about the reports. These are just examples. I just want to know why. Im just waiting for the admins to respond on this.

SPC Simon's post is probably one of the main reasons that no action was taken, that and the fact that this is one day before you were banned from the server, invalidating probably any ban request that was pending that you made.

But, whatever, this won't go through at all, you'll count it as favouritism and bias towards a certain side.
