Context
I was responding to this situation with my fellow Officer Marius. We detained an individual who had a firearm.
What Happened
We started going through the Procedures when responding to this kind of situation and role playing with these people. Once things start to get bad for the guy who is detained he all of a sudden "Disconnects". As soon as this happens what I presume is his friend proceeds to tell me that his friend's (Windex) Computer Crashed.
Why is this against the Rules
I find it quite hard to believe that in that short amount of time between the "Disconnecting" of Windex and his Friend informing me, Windex would be able to contact his friend telling him to tell me that his Computer Crashed. Furthermore, this seems a little bit convenient to Windex as we were going to process him according to the Fines and Punishment Police Official Handbook. As soon as his friend is finished selling he disconnects too.
Resolution of the Issue on Teamspeak
I was not able to contact either of these 2 people either on teamspeak or in game due to the fact that they disconnected from both.
Extra Information
The reason for me putting up this report quite a considerable amount of time from the time of the incident is because at the current place I was for the past 3 weeks the internet did not permit me to upload any kind of evidence to sites such as Youtube or PlaysTV. This would lead to a report being obsolete due to the lack of evidence.
Conclusion
Overall the Rule 2.5 has been broken.
"(2.5) Combat logging at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained (Punishment is a ban, which may be permanent. *) *Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first). "
This is unless the people involved with this would be able to demonstrate otherwise with their own recordings or other forms of evidence.

PS: I forgot to mention that his friend broke roleplay through voice chat to deliver his message
