This video does not show the whole context of the situaition. Please upload a video that is longer 2+ minutes.

@WannaBeRichKid Once again, are you able to supply a longer video, that is able to give context to the staff team.

Hello there A N D Y, @WannaBeRichKid

I am writing this response to show my side of the story. You have accused me for "Poor / Low Quality Role play". You mainly highlight the issue of you being knocked out swiftly. From your point of view, I can relate that being knocked out may be a downside as you know you may lose your gear. You had attempted to resolve the situation, we agreed that we should get a staff members opinion. @James_W12345 gave his opinion and viewpoint of the rules towards you. He told us both to understand it from each others point of view. I took this into consideration myself after the scenario, by going out and helping hobos like yourself. This doesn't really matter, so we shall stick to the point at hand. @James_W12345 had settled the debate with his opinion, however after this you asked for compensation. We explained why I was not going to hand you compensation as @K I E R A N and I had offered you the chance in the end of the hostage situation to have your weapon back. You abused the opportunity, when @K I E R A N gave you the wrong gun you decided to trade kill me. This ultimately prevented us from giving you compensation, due to you taking that risk within role play, you had shot first and there was no rule breaks within shooting me. This is why I didn't compensate you. However, you demanded compensation from myself, due to me denying the compensation that was from another part of the scenario you put up this report. I think you fail to realize that compensation is never the ultimate resolution. However, I neither agree or disagree with the reasons putting up the report, as you may want a wider audience's opinion instead of just one staff member.

Now time to break down some points of yours.

we have no conversation
You mention how we have no conversation. Google defines a conversation to be: "a talk, especially an informal one, between two or more people, in which news and ideas are exchanged." @K I E R A N and yourself had a conversation, while I listened in. I felt rude to interrupt, I would normally converse more however I felt not in this scenario. Yes, there could of been more effort to have a proper conversation of what you were doing, I will take this into consideration in future situations. However I feel the statement of "we have no conversation" is very out there, I did allow @K I E R A N his turn to interact with you. I also told you to stop the truck, which you did, to open the barrier to role play opportunities.

I end up getting initiated on very fast
I agree with this point, I was speaking very fast. However the order was clear, due to the compression of the video it may not be clear on the audiences perspective, but in-game the voices are much clearer. You understood my order was given, as you claimed that you had armed rebels on the way, therefore certifying to myself and @K I E R A N that you may of understood it. The reason why I speak fast in comparison to other players, as in a way it reflects my quick and fast pace play style. If you look at other players, including yourself Andy, these players are very calm in these situations. I am not calm in these situations, I shake quite a bit too. I will try my best to remain calm in future situations if suited towards the overall experience of role play. But at the end of the day, you can't argue that I am inserting an anxious trait into my role play character.

get knocked out , very fast.
I disagree with this point, you had around 11 to 12 seconds to make your mind up of whether or not you were going to place your hands up or run away. @James_W12345 said that I was in a way okay to knock you out, because you responded in a hostile manor by pulling out your weapon. If you had resumed to stand still, I would not of been able to knock you out in this scenario as I would of ended any role play opportunities such as: stalling, storytelling or negotiating. I believe the reason why you felt you were knocked out quickly is because you heard "or your getting knocked out" as the last threat being made, it overruled the lethal threat I made earlier. This shouldn't be the case, as I announced it as a robbery 10 seconds before hand.

Thank you for reading,

PLAYER 1

I would like to see you create better structured points and defend them, and I hope we can come to a resolution we can agree on.

@WannaBeRichKid as I discussed with you, this situation was not ideal, but from both sides.

They do knock you out quickly but their hand was forced because you were running away and getting your gun out.

Had you chosen to roleplay and then you been knocked out, it would be a different matter.

Hopefully the gang initiating on you have learned not to knock out so fast, but likewise hopefully you have learned not to run away from an armed rebel and get your gun out.

Also the video is far too short to make any other judgement, because there is nothing to stop someone RPing with someone who is restrained.

If you come to TS and have a member of staff telling you an opinion, then just because you arent happy with that opinion, doesnt mean you can "chance it" by putting a report up and hoping to get a different outcome.

Report rejected.
