Report a player

Your In-game Name: Tommy Anderson

Name and/or ID of the player(s) you are reporting: Unknown(Balla/Triad?)

Which server did the incident take place on: GTA RP

Date of the incident: 11/10/21

Time of the incident (GMT) 24hr Format: 2100

What best describes this incident ?: Potential Combat Storing/Powergaming

Please (in detail) describe the incident: After discussing with a couple of staff members, i've decided to pop this report up not as a means of punishment to whoever these people are but to set a standard for the gangs involved, and to hopefully set a boundary in regards to Combat Storing, at approx 9-9:30PM last night an officer had been taken hostage whilst we had a Balla in custody, this officer was presumably robbed of his items (fair game at this point) However it is then believed that the items he was robbed off (Whilst still in an active situ) were then stored inside of a Hellion outside of HMP (Bolinbroke Penitentiary) before then being stored straight back into the car park, it was later found that a Glock 17 was stored inside this Hellion (as discovered by a staff member OOC when brought up to them) and as such means that weapon is no longer recoverable regardless of the situational outcome, I do hope that this could be outlined clearly by the Staff Team as to prevent any further potentially unfair Roleplay, Thanks in advance for reading!

This report is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!: Yes

You tried to resolve the situation with the player(s) before reporting: No

This is not a revenge report (Abuse will lead to forum/community bans): Yes

I'm not the one that person you're claiming combat stored but was later told to come to TS after the situation about the potential combat storing. The person didn't store ANY police issued equipment in fact he stored a standard in the Helion which was later confirmed by staff.

And just so you're aware of the rule and maybe just heard it thrown around and may not know what it actually means. (C2.4 combat storing - storing your vehicle in a way that prevents roleplay such as but not limited to garaging a vehicle whilst you are being chased or impounding/scrapping your vehicle to gain an advantage)

In no way did he store a gun to gain an advantage or impeded any sort of RP. The reason behind him storing a weapon was we robbed a police officer he had for the glock he had on him and he stored the other weapon he had on him (not the glock) whilst not being chased by police at all.

I'll not be responding further, just to give a little perspective to what ACTUALLY happened in this situation.

Hello Tommy,

Not sure how this is combat storing but moving on. I spoke with a staff member yesterday in TeamSpeak about what happened and it was solved. At the time, I had two pistols on me (my own standard and the Glock from the officer) so it only makes sense to store one as there was a possibility that a gun fight could have broken out and potentially being arrested and losing those weapons could have occurred. The gun that was put in that Hellion, was indeed, the original standard pistol I had on me prior to the robbing and kidnapping of the police officer, as PJ said. That Glock is still in my possession but that is something to be found out about in RP.  It was stored after the situation had ended with the robbing of the officer but combat storing relates to being actively in a situation such as a gun fight or police chase and storing that weapon or car so the other party cannot obtain what the individual had on the them.

Anyways I'm going to leave it there as I don't see an issue as the matter was resolved straight after the RP had finished!

As mentioned in the report @xKaneand @PJ Adamsit is simply there in hopes that staff can in their next meeting better outline the rules regarding combat storing, as although you weren't in an active chase with Police, you were either negotiating or still in possession of a Police Officer of whom you had hostage, I feel as though the rule should be better outlined and hope that the result of this report could potentially show that as such, despite it not being a pursuit there are chances of it being seen as Combat Storing as you are in an active Roleplay scenario with the Police, at the time of this going up I was told it was a Glock 17 (Of which we believe to have been taken from the Hostage Officer) that was stored in that Hellion, I to had spoken to two staff members in total including a staff lead of which I was recommended to put the report up in hopes of potentially better outlining the circumstances in which something is considered combat storing.

Firstly @Tommy_TV2021we apologise for the time it has taken for a response on this report. However with Christmas fast approaching people are getting rather busy with work etc as you can probably imagine.

Now since this particular situation has been resolved I will be denying this report with no action taken. However we have noted down what has happened in this report and we have and will be continuing the discussion on the rule and once we are satisfied that we have clarified the rule it will be posted on the forums.

Thank you for your patience.

 Denied.

Thank you for your report, Unfortunately, it has been declined
