After seeing this report spread around TeamSpeak like marmite on toast, I thought the best action was to deal with it professionally, however I was approached by multiple gangs saying they were going to make reports, Ali, as seen above was the first to the post button, and therefore, here we are.
This is a difficult report to deal with, as although metagaming was used, it wasn’t used in an advantageous manner.
I invited 2 admins, TheSoldier and Brat to sit in as I spoke a few main members of [TI] in order to process a way forward, and explain what’s going on.
My first statement is, No action will be taken on this instance. The manner in which this evidence was collected was poor and used to attack an established gang. Its sole intent was to cause disruption. We’ve rose above this, and seen through the trouble that was attempted to be created.
Those who have watched the video should be made aware it was not the real Zeiger recording, but Jamil West, a previous member of the community whom is banned with no return.
I’ll use this as evidence to show our banning system works, and works effectively in showing peoples true colours.
My second statement is to verify the first statement above. Although no action has been taken, we did sit and talk to key members of [TI] and work a solution to improve their own inter-gang communications and how to move forwards. I’d point out that [TI] did play correctly using any information they were provided. Such as targeting only those using an XML which actually should have been used by all their members.
Metagaming should never be used. Those metagaming will be banned if/when caught, however we will do things correctly and effectively and not revenge reports from previous members of this community.
I’ll also be letting [TI] Release their statement before this case is put to bed.
