I was doing my run from the blood diamond processor to go and sell, and I saw a chopper floating above me and landing near me, in a panic I went to deploy my boat, but then thought I didn't have time and got out my rifle in order to defend my self should I have to. In the video you can see the dialogue exchanged, such as "just wanna know your intentions" which quickly skips to "yeh ill warning shot you I don't give a shit" and then proceeds to kill me, when I simply requested a warning shot. They had NOT opposed a threat to me prior to this, their only demand was for my to place my hands on my head, there was no "or else we will open fire" or "or we will use deadly force" It was a "idc ill kill him lol" moment. Plain boring roleplay in my opinion, if I'd of felt threatened enough I'd of shot first but there had not yet been any initiation, so I assumed I was going to put away my weapon following a warning shot, and then proceed to comply with their demands. But I wasn't even given a chance, as requesting a warning shot from their "10 guys" in my eyes isn't a form of initiation. And no, me having my weapon out isn't initiation either. No life was threatened, and then not to mention it ended in an execution. I told them while they dragged me to the execution location "you've made the worst mistake" and the asked if I had friends and I said "you'll find out" and then they executed me. I've been back on this server for a week and this boring ass "ill kill him cuz i can lul" attitude is ruining the whole experience. ROB me! torture me! Throw me in the sea leave me stranded on an island make me swim back take me in a chopper and force me to jump out with no parachute or hold me hostage, do something fun and worth the roleplay instead of being such boring farts.

I was the person you can hear initiating, (Gen J. Harris) we told you of our intentions, you then proceded to ask for a warning shot which is a common tactic to start a gunfight and get the jump on the people initiating on you. You can then claim you felt threatened and open fire. Dylan deemed it necessary to shoot you becasue he thought this was your intention, as for the execution we repeatedly asked you if you had friends in the area that had bad intentions, which you cut from your video for some reason, you proceeded to say "you will find out" and "you have made a big mistake". We interpret that as you have friends that intend to interupt our robbery, so we give a swift roleplay execution with a chance to say your final words, which is not needed if the situation/gunfight is ongoing, and from your suggestive phrases we assume you have friends on the way.

I am not denying that the situation could have been handled better, however I would still class the initiation as high quality RP and you were given time to comply, there was no threat made to your life that is fair, however you asking us to shoot at you immediatly puts your life in danger giving you the right to open fire. The situation panned out this way because we thought your intentions were to coax us into a gunfight, bare in mind we had no idea who you are you could be a part of  a big gang with friends ready to kill us, and us giving you a warning shot starts a gunfight, this is why we repeatedly ask you if you have friends around before executing you. We told you exactly what we wanted you to do and that you were not in a position to refuse, both Dylan and I also told you to put your gun away at the start but it is very quiet in your video for some reason, you respond with, in essence, shoot at me to prove you mean it, this changes the situation from an RP interaction into a gunfight once a shot passes by your head. I have fallen victim to this tactic multiple times and it ends in almost everyone dying. As you can tell from my initiation we are relaxed and the initiation is what I would consider high quality RP,  our intention was to RP with you but requesting a warning shot leads us to believe you intend to start a gunfight. If you had tried to contact us on teamspeak after the situatuon we would have known that from your perspective it looked like it was poor RP, becasue to us it seemed like someone who wanted to start a gunfight by asking for a warning shot and we neutralised the threat. If you had come to TS and explained your fustrations to us  we would have happily resolved the misunderstanding but we didnt get any TS or in game messages from you nor did you ask us to TS in OOC. We are still willing to resolve the situation if you are and apologies for the misunderstanding.

Being the one reported, 

When we came up to you, before we had even said anything your gun was pulled from your back and aimed at us. Me and Harris seeked cover behind you hemmit, Harris kindly asks you to put your gun away and place your hands on your head otherwise lethal force would be used also that you where surrounded by Freinds and ally’s. You then proceeded to ask for a warning shot. I shoot below the hemmit next to your feet. You say something else and Harris I believe tells you to put your hands on your head again. Harris then goes to give you your last chance, however being on the pier where boats is there isn’t much cover and now shots have been fired I decided to lay below the hemmit and shoot your legs till you where dead, incase you had Freinds setting up in the area. Maybe it wasn’t a long time but I gave you enough time from the initiation.I was aloud to do that, I gave you a warning shot, as you asked, and we both told you our intentions. I’m roleplaying as a robber at this time, we want your gear and your blood diamonds, if your going to be aiming the gun at us and where telling you we’re going to shoot you. Maybe it wasn’t the best roleplay but I do feel like if me and Harris had of took less of a covered postition you would of opened fire. But don’t get me wrong I do admit I was a little trigger happy in the situation, but I do feel like I had the right to shoot you as you where warning shot as asked for, and told the intentions 

May I ask why you didn’t try to resolve it with any of us? We where on pretty late and we would of happily tried to resolve the situation.

Also, what was cut out your video, you say “you made a bad mistake”. Not knowing your intention this lead to the quick execution. From this at the point of time saying that sentence got me thinking you had Freinds in the area. If Harris has evidence of this, it may be posted if wanted, you would see me drag you behind the rock whilst you kept saying “you will find out” every time we asked you if you had Freinds in the area, Harris has also took cover and i say “you are now being executed on behalf of TBB do you have any final words?” I gave you a resanable time to say something but you didn’t so I decided to finish you.

As I said, we would of easily come to liaison and spoke about the situation. My DMs are open to set a time as I will be busy the day I post this. Why did you not in the first place and come straight to the forums, for me it seems your trying to get me banned instead of being professional about it and asking us to come to ts. If we had spoke about it and fount out I was in the wrong I would happily comp what you lost providing you have evidence of it.

Reviewing the YouTube vid I defiantly do see where I have gone wrong and will happily comp you at this time, I believed that Harris had told you lethal force would be used but he did not. I was very quick to pull the trigger, and i am sorry for my actions. If you would like to DM me evidence of what you had on you and what was in the truck I am happy to, this would of been solved if you would have asked us to come to ts instead of coming straight to th forums as I believe your intention here is to get me banned.

I’m replying to this topic for the last time untill an admin takes the final desicion. 

If an admin thinks different to what I post below I will comp you for your gear and blood diamonds.

However as Harris says, a warning shot has been fire and there is now an active situation in the area. This took me a long time to figure out for some reason. I also feel you where slightly baiting. I’m not trying to throw remarks around that you where but asking for a warning shot could be seen as baiting as it is making the situation active. You wanted a warning shot, Harris was not willing to give you one, however I was. At this time you had full rights to shoot me or a rebel with a gun drawn that you believe is part of the situation. If this warning shot hadn’t of been fired then yes, the situation was a lot different.

I didn't come to teamspeak because I don't like dealing with people who play the game like you did last night. I feel it's not worth wasting my time as it's clear all you play this for is to kill people at any given chance, at least that's how it seems, not to mention I was tired and had no motive after the events. I cut out the middle of the video because it's not that important, and I included everything that I said in the text above. My request for a warning shot was for a shot, near my feet from one of your many allies that are floating the area, upon receiving the warning shot I would've put away my rifle knowing my life was at risk should make any wrong move, and id of followed your instructions. When the police ask for a warning shot when being held up by someone with "snipers" that isn't classed as initiation, it's more of a confirmation and gives me an incentive to go along with your demands. Me asking you to shoot near me, and then me shooting back would be an extremely cheap way of starting a gun fight, and actually  a warning shot isn't a form of initiation so should I have shot back, I'd be in the wrong. In my eyes it seemed cheap, lazy, and just an excuse to boost your egos and kill someone. You say you killed me because you thought my intentions were to trap you in a "he shot first" situation, yet in the video you say "I'll give him a warning shot I don't care" and then you kill me. That seemed to me more like "lol I'm in a gang so I'm gonna kill him coz lul y not" didn't feel fair at all to be honest it was pretty lousy. Every death on this server has been shit like this and it's quite tedious when the agenda is so simple. I can see you understand where you went wrong and I appreciate you apologising, I had 76 blood diamond processed in the truck, whether you lock picked it or not I'm not sure, but I don't have any evidence of that so, that's fine you don't have to comp me. I'm not trying to get you banne so, sorry if that's how it looks, it's more of a look you can't just do this, kind of report and I'd like a staff input so that in future should a similar situation arise again, I know where I went wrong and what I should / shouldn't do, and the same goes for you. I don't want anyone banned, I'd rather people just be educated on the regulations of the server and how they're best played out. 

(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together. I appreciate the honesty, however coming to the forums and “not trying to get me banned or have no intention on getting anyone banned” is a common saying, however it is a report that can lead to a ban. If you had no intention you would of come to ts as it’s clear your not dumb on the rules. However a valid reason is not “ I don’t like people like you was last night” is not a valid reason to not come to ts and try to resolve the situation. If you wanted staff put we could of gone to staff help and saw out the problems there. However you have chosen to skip these steps and come straight to the final step which has the most consequences for me. If you had come, me and Harris are both friendly guys, I would of happily spoke it out in a none aggressive way. I did not have the “ lol I’m in a gang attitude” I do not believe this is the right attitude for this server however I do admit to being in the wrong. All of this could of been said on ts and the situation resolved. I’m willing to comp the diamonds and a few hundred k extra for your gear.

My intention isn't to get you banned, if it results in that then iam sorry but the rules are what they are for a reason. You've been pretty chill on here and I appreciate you understanding the faults at hand and your offer to compensate me. it's a game at the end of the day and the main thing for me is time, this game specifically takes a lot of time and when my time is just put to waste as of last night it's quite mentally draining. I dont mind being robbed, it's just how things played out. I'm more than happy to request for this topic to be locked and closed, being that in a future situation like this, the same things won't happen. But I'd still like a staffs input on the situation for my own peace of mind, simply because who knows maybe I could be in the wrong somehow.
