Please (in detail) describe the incident

Me and a fellow gang member pulled up to the east rebel outpost when we were going up the tower we saw three men who had pistols so we had the intent to rob them and see if they had any illegal rifles in their bags when we checked the tower for anyone/thing. We then pursued them from the outpost to the HMP Altis prison where they VDM'ed us(NOTE:We tried to get them in TS but when we asked in side there was no response

As you can see in the video, we tried to shut their way by closing the path, giving them enough time to stop the pursuit, which does not count as VDM. On your video there is also ALOT of desync, as we moved away immediately after seeing you weren't going to slow down, but I guess you don't know what desync is.

From what I see in my video there is no desync. You cant just close us in hoping that we would stop you cant do that type of stuff as it will 9/10 times cause an accident as seen in the video. You also state that you "immediately" moved away as soon as you saw we weren't going to stop which again is incorrect as you turn into us blatantly it is easy to see that there is no desync involved in the pursuit and especially not in the crash

The thing with desync is that accidents are easy to happen even when the driver thinks they're doing everything right. Our driver wanted to make you stop, but didn't pull away fast enough. As for the resolving, none of us really pay attention to chat, therefore we did not notice. We have footage of our driver doing everything according to the rules, and hopefully when the person with the footage returns we can publish it. Sorry lads, but that's how desync works.

You seem to think this accident was purely desync based but my recording proves otherwise swerving into other vehicles with the intent to make them stop results in accidents you said that the driver done everything according to the rules if he done so this would of never happened in the first place plus you state that you didn't pull away fast enough yet you didn't pull away at all.

Hmm. Tough one. One could say that the offroad was trying to get you to ram him by making that move. On the other hand, the speed of both cars was slow enough for the pursuing vehicle to stop before a collision. The question remains is; was it their intention to make you crash into them, using their vehicle as a weapon? Something that is very hard to determine.

From my point of view, trying to take over a car by going to the inner lane while there is no room to evade to, due to the fence being there, is asking for trouble. Blocking off that overtake move by closing the gap you wanted to go through, is a sensible move. If it wasn't for ArmA physics, nothing would have gone wrong. I am of a mind that the speed of the pursuit was low enough for the hatchback to hit the breaks and also that the hatchback is the side that took a clear risk with the potential outcome of a crash (''VDM'').

I would like a second member of staff to give their input to see if there are any other opinions out there. Summoning @Jamzto give his view before moving to making a call.

If I may, me, kevin english and Danny met them yesterday.

We were doing a police patrol and ANPR their SUV which came out wanted as the owner Steve did some crime.

Whilst chasing them, they keep stopping infront of us on purpose or when they turn, they turn infront of us. It was clear VDM to us because they didnt just did it once and stop but they keep doing it.

@Kevin English you have a recording buddy?

Thank you for your input, I will await to see if @Kevin Englishhas video evidence of that. If that shows they do this more often, my opinion on the video may change. If this is a tactic used more often, that implicates they know what they are doing and actually try to get VDM'd to get the other party killed or to be able to report the other party for VDM.

I forgot to add, I feel like they were baiting for us after the first chase, when we first lost him we drove around, the place near Drug Dealer and Copper mine for a bit. They then pop up and we gave it 5 min chase and lost them. Then they pop up again gave it a couple more mins chase. On the last chase it was near copper mine until I killed us by driving into a house. I think the whole chase was around 10-20 mins out of all those chase, they were trying to make us crash into us and pop our tire. At one point our tire was messed up.

@Kevin EnglishAgree?

How the hell is this VDM if we didn't kill you, but you did it yourself driving into a house. I thought this is a hardcore roleplay server, seems that it's not as trying not to get caught by the police gets you banned. Also, there were 2 Spongebob SUV's driving around, one was us, one was some stranger. After we had escaped on a hill you started to chase the other SUV, meaning we are not responsible for their crimes. I think you were chasing the wrong SUV later, as when we came back to rob people at the drug dealer we saw your car crashed into a house.

There was, one was chased by Kieran Rhead and you were chased by us. We gave chase to the other SUV when we lost you and until we ANPR your car once again, you were there. The whole time, @Kevin Englishwas the driver until I got fed up cause we were getting know where, got into the car and started chasing you again until I crashed into a house (T_T).I dont think you understand the rule VDM.

(2.1) VDM - Vehicle Death Match Definition: Using your vehicle for running people over, using it to ram into other vehicles in and outside combat, or with intent to cause an explosion are all considered VDM here (Punishment is a ban)

VDM doesn't really mean killing. Just as the rule stated above, you were using your car to make us RAM into yours by braking when we were behind you luckily for us Kevin is a good driver and stopped in time that we didnt die, just affected our tires. You did it the first time we were like maybe an accident, you did it the whole chase so we were like thats VDM. We were gonna pop your tires until I crashed (T_T).

We used a common police tactic of stopping/slowing down people. On the behalf of the driver I can say that he didn't try to make you explode, but only to slow you and possibly make your tyres orange, what he succeeded in doing.

Locked.

Evidence will be reviewed and the final decision will be made by @Khandamir on this one.

(Khandy, please see above hidden comments. Thanks)

Denied - sorry but this seems too much lie it could be desync, especially with what problems arma has and what we have been having even me when in game. And with only this video I made my conclusion.
