SIDE NOTE: It’s only here because there is nowhere else to put it, I don’t expect the member of staff to get banned for this, I just want it dealt with.

I’d like to start to by commenting on a warn that a fellow friend MVP received for posting a ‘dodgy link’ at least that was the initial reason given by Kieran Rhead but then it turned into Kieran Rhead stating this and I quote <03:12:29> "Kieran Rhead": (13.1) Any decision the staff team make is final. Which seems to be a rule put in place just to reinforce staffs words even though they have been proven wrong.

MVP was warned on the forum for a rule that is non existent and what allows staff to enforce their judgement is above. The link itself isn’t even dodgy, I think this link was deemed as dodgy because it was an IP address rather than a domain, for example this URL http://216.58.213.78 takes us to Google and thats not dodgy.

The IP address of the web server that the MP4 is located on, which I won’t link because I will probably get banned as well has no links to the actual site the video is displayed on, no way. The link was a direct MP4 meaning that when “sign up below” was regularly said it meant nothing whatsoever and could do no harm to anyone. The video also didn’t state any direct advertising such as website links e.t.c.

In the help room with Kieran Rhead he spoke about younger members of the community hooking on to this content and the ban reason stated “linked to a failed method of advertising” I personally searched Google for various terms that people who are mislead by these videos may type examples below.

As you can see these links bring back searches from trusted websites such as AOL, WikiHow and LifeHack, you’ll also find that these dodgy websites for actual scam schemes won't be displayed such as the site that linked video was off because they would have been either blacklisted by Google or down ranked due to the sites that have the same code. The site the video was from is a duplicate of many other sites that scam people but they just go under different names, I can even show these sites and state the full names of them and if you try and search them you do not see it in the search results.

This was only the first incident, soon after we all leave the help channel as MVP was questioning why he got banned (Part of the story in the first paragraph) we then return to the gang channel and MVP jokily changed his name to “Got done by 13.1” and then seconds later he is kicked from the server by Samuel Thompson for the reason “Adult Community behave yourself” Samuel Thompson is literally spying on our channel just to see what's going on and interfering for no reason. We were also told by Kieran Rhead that Samuel Thompson was busy and could not come and speak to us to discuss the forum warning even though he has the time to spy on us and kick for pointless reason. An adult community should be able to take a joke and have a laugh this is even encouraged in the rules, “We are fair and at the end of the day we are all here to enjoy ourselves and have fun in a nice environment!”

Back to the messages that were sent to me, my point is Samuel Thompson feels he has be cheeky to me and try to explain what a ban is even though the rights MVP has now are the same as a use that isn’t logged in. You can see the messages below also pardon the spellings i’m trying to type quick before he was to end the chat in which he did.

Finally, I hope this is read before I get banned by a rule such as. (1.6) The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues.

You may ask why i’m writing this and not MVP, because I want to bring up on this and I was there and also experienced the same thing he did. I care about this community and want to bring attention to this to the events that went down tonight.

The way the staff team deal with these kind of things is totally down to their own discression. If they feel a warning point and a 7 day time out was warranted for posting something they are not happy with with very little context behind the link then so be it. I myself may have just given a warning point with a gentle reminder. What makes it worse is the method of retaliation to an injustice you thought was committed. I personally have given full 1.6 community bans for people who have changed their names on TS just to make a point against others because they thought they were being smart. It's not big and it's not clever. If in the first instance you came here (the forums not report a player) and were as constructive as you have been I may have looked at this differently but your friend changing his name and then posting a "report" without approaching anyone in the management team says a lot. Next time if you are not happy with something any of our team does please feel free to message myself with any concerns.
